    • That’s about the sexiest damned thing I’ve ever seen. Ava Gardner with leather trim.

But, how the hell have the belts and hoses lasted 50 years? Surely they’d atrophy in that time?

      • I’d say they would. But if somebody shipped it over to my address, I’d be prepared to go to the trouble of replacing them..http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_mail.gif

        • Beautiful car, from back when we still had designers that were compitent. Now everything looks Japanese
IF the car was kept indoors out of direct sun and in a dry environment all the soft parts would still be in good condition.

I bet it goes for more than $100,000.It’s a Shelby Snake with the most desirable drive train package and Shelby is gone to the speed shop in the sky.I had a buddy in Canada who had one back in the day.Expsensive car to own.As he put it “One 428 Cobra jet Mustang = 2 solid blocks of rubber=two cops without a sense of humor=higher insurance premiums for years”

  1. Headlines in the NZ Herald:
‘NIWA seeks amateur climate scientists’ I thought they already employed those?
    and:
‘Dotcom admits owning Mein Kampf’ You’d think leftists would be delighted…he’s got a copy signed by one of their own.

Either means what it says–or it doesn’t. There’s no “middle ground”.

    • “My son was killed in a bar with a 9-millimeter gun,” she said. “Without that gun, we’d still have him here. Do we need more guns in bars? After this? Seriously?”

Proof positive that grief can turn you into a retard.

Aside, I wish that I could convey to every person in the world that when they paraphrase a proposition like “do we really want to..?” with “really?” or “seriously?” they sound like complete and utter fuckwits.

Few other things incline me as strongly to punch a person in the face.

    • The first item is a tragedy, albeit predictable. The second, no surprise at all.
