so, why the nannying? The answer, of course is the same as ever–that way lies power and control. De facto rule by the lowest common denominator. At the taxpayer’s expense, naturally. And mommy gets to feel all self-righteous and safe and….you know, motherly. *spit*

    Not in my house. I told my wife “you get three years to turn them into people, but once they can talk they’re mine to turn into men.”

    She was more than happy with that. One of the benefits of marrying a gal who grew up in a third world catholic dominated nation.
