      Oh this has been a scandal for a long time.A friend of mine is a chip architect for one of the big two chip manufacturers.It’s been known that chips and other sensitive hardware that is never supposed to leave US borders has been doing so for several years now.It’s gotten to the point that these companies have threatened to halt sales of their product to the US government because of all the leaks.

    Michael,I think this administration is to blame.Same as when Clinton was president,suddenly China and Russia both had better missile guidance systems.That kind of technology takes years and billions to develop and neither country had the technical ability to do so.

    Some of the current issue involves foreign nations setting up dummy companies here in the US in order to purchase restricted hardware.One recent incident had a dummy company that was setup by the Chinese army.They bought 32 sets of a highly restricted microprocessor.The manufacturer knew the company was bogus,so they contacted the FBI.The FBI decided to setup a sting and try to catch these guys,so they told the company to go ahead with the sale and ship the chips.

    They tracked the package the whole way right to the guy’s front door only to find out he had already transfered the chips to a waiting Chinese freighter and had slipped the noose.

    My fear is this administration just like the Clinton and Carter administrations is giving away the store.Heck,that’s why Obama is wanting to give away the Internet backbone,Carter already gave away the Panama Canal and I think it’s Obama;s goal in life to out do Carterhttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

    The current administration in the US has become so corrupt that one of the highest ranking members, in fact the highest law enforcement official in the country, is puzzled that there is any problem with his using on official airplane for personal trips. I’ll give them credit, they keep finding a new low in corruption, hypocrisy, and hubris that leaves me shaking my head.
