    Thought I read that G.M. Fraser essay some years back after his passing. Raised a hell of a stink, hopefully so will this one. I wish someone would bind the Flashman books into one of those expensive leather bound individual volume sets. My paperback set is falling apart due to multiple readings.

      He’s was a wonderful writer, wasn’t he? The historical details are accurate, too.
      My favourite book of his is “Quartered Safe Out Here” and towards the end of the book are several rants similar to that one.

    I hear that at school level provincial cricket and rugby that only 3 white players are allowed in a team. After 20 years in government the ANC is still trying to force selection based on colour (of the majority) and not ability.
