Ban Bendigo Bank

‘What a disgraceful and dangerous decision:
A bank is standing by its decision to close the account of a protest group which is fighting plans to build a mosque in the Victorian city of Bendigo.
The Bendigo Bank last week informed the Stop the Mosque group that it was closing the group’s account, saying the bank only wants to do business with organisations that share its values.
The group was raising funds for its fight against a mosque which is proposed for a site near Bendigo’s airport…’

    Bendigo Bank is owned by its shareholders. Are you one?

    Bendigo Bank is free to make its own commercial decisions.

    You are free to decline to do business with Bendigo Bank.

    The people of Bendigo get to make their own planning decisions, via their elected council.

    Moslems have as much right to build a place of worship as the kiddie fucking catholics.

    You do great rants about freedom, but you don’t really understand it, do you?

      I don’t have to be a shareholder in order to recognise a slimy PC act when I see one.

      Bendigo Bank is free to make its own commercial decisions.
      Except that it made a “values” ie moral decision here.

      You are free to decline to do business with Bendigo Bank.
      And I do.

      “elected” councils make all sorts of planning decisions which are not in the best interests of ratepayers. You’ve never heard of corruption, obviously.

      There aren’t one tenth as many kiddy fucking Catholics as there are kiddy fucking teachers. And a mosque is a political statement for a murderous ideology which has an unbeatable record for kiddy fucking, kiddy murder and kiddy “marriage”. Perhaps you hadn’t noticed? But then, being a leftard and all, if you haven’t notice the 150 million dead caused by the ideology you follow I don’t suppose trivial efforts such as Beslan and Mumbai would even register.

      You do great rants about freedom, but you don’t really understand it, do you?
      Oh, I understand it very well. And if you think either the bank or their murderous totalitarian muslim clients represent freedom then your mental capacity is at least severely impaired. Somewhat similar to your moral compass.

      Go easy on freedom fighter and keyboard warrior David, he’s very sour because his attempts to stop the McDonalds at Tecoma didn’t work out. You see even though they felt they knew better than the locals, their attempts at bringing “freedom” to Tecoma didn’t quite work out.

    Well DavidinSA, Muslim men see their prophet as the ideal they should aspire to. He married his favourite wife when she was 6 and consumated the marriage when she was 9. So which religion approves of kiddie fiddling? Yes Catholic priests committed child abuse, but it is not approved of by the Catholic Church.

    Also, many places of worship in Islam (i.e. mosques) are built as temples of conquest. That is they are built on the sites of previous churches of other religions in countries conquered by Muslims. The Temple Mount mosque in Jerusalem is a classic example.

    As far as I am aware, Islam is the only religion that encourages (strongly) its followers to convert by the sword. And you defend this?

    It has been held that should the left ever gain control of financial institutions, those not of that persuasion would rue the day. Here is proof that your finances are now an acceptable tool to be used in order to suppress political speech. The fear that I have with Obamacare is that they will also use your health against you. Need surgery to survive? Are you a conservative? Too bad that you chose your politics poorly. You see, there is no right or wrong with the left, there is only compliance.     There is a simple solution with regards to building a unwanted mosque in Bendigo.
    Those who oppose it can in the dead of night bury a dead pig at the site. Then simply make sure the deed is announced loud and clear all over town and the jobs done.
    Very cheap too.
