Model Nation Sliding to Third World
‘..STOCKHOLM, Sweden — When President Barack Obama visited Sweden last year, he expressed his deep admiration for the Swedish model. But that should make Americans a little nervous.
One U.N. report says Sweden will be a third-world nation in about 15 years, below Libya and Bulgaria. Sweden is a society that believes it is racing into the future, but critics warn that it is racing to the bottom.
It has been a laboratory for all kinds of social experiments: Swedish leaders are trying to build the perfect society.
The country has been compared to two nations that also tried to build perfect societies: North Korea and the Soviet Union.
In Sweden, if you don’t like how utopia is being built, you won’t be shot like in North Korea, but your life could become very unpleasant, very quickly…’
The Conservative has the rest of it. Fascinating stuff!
And very typical of the results when elected (and unelected) “elites” think they know better than the people they’re supposed to serve.

    This is a perfect example of the fact that you do not own anything you cannot stand in front of with a gun. In this case the ‘thing’ is your country.

    Sadly we must remember that these fools running the show in Sweden were voted in. Swedes that fear the future have no choice now but to leave or stake out a small space in their own nation and secede.

    Secession is becoming wildly popular around the world with good cause. Conservatives are stubborn but despite that, they’re coming around to the fact that when you don’t have the numbers, democracy is another word for slavery and oppression.

    Personally I think there would be a case for somewhere remote in Australia to become a new nation, likely in the underdeveloped north, but things have to get a lot worse for that to become inviting by comparison.

        I think that depends entirely.

        In most ways the ones seceding now are smart. They know that their current politicians will lose any semblance of cushy living if they engage in civil war. Take Catalonia in Spain for example. Spain is near broke. They can no more start a fight with Catalan than a man on a tightrope can start a fistfight with his fellow tightrope balancer.

        Australia is different. We’re still quite successful here, and there’s no stomache for hard measaures. It’s a shame in a way. When the SHTF on a global scale we’re going to suffer just the same as everyone else. The difference is that instead of a steady slide it will be more like a sudden drop into ice cold water.

    Sadly it’s what they want and they won’t learn from their mistakes. All i can say is can they hurry it along so that when Swedish elites are being passed around for sodomy by the “beautiful savages” they might serve as an example to others in our midst with the same shit-for-brains.

    Wasn’t drug use there rampant early on?Would explain a lot as to just how screwed up a country can become so quickly.

    Good point, Darin. But my personal preference is for the “war on drugs” to be called off. It’s nobody else’s business what substances adults choose to use.
    Let Darwin sort it out. :twisted:
