Still the media are having a field day, beating up some mildly offensive remarks by a minor media “personality”. And Kiwis are ready and willing to allow themselves to be whipped into a frenzy, since the financial, political and social reasons for what’s causing their country to circle the drain are evidently too hard to grapple with. Much, much easier (and more emotionally satisfying) to join a mob and bay for the blood of a nonentity.
Now a prominent, pompous hypocritical maori politician has seen which way the mob are headed and joined the stampede. Which is especially sickening, since it was one of his colleagues who referred to white Kiwis as “white motherfuckers”–and another of them, Tariana Loathsome Turia who suggested some time ago that all white Kiwis ought to be standing on the beach with their bags packed….yet Kiwis were quick to forgive and forget those remarks. It’s much, much too hard to take a stand, you see, against the prevailing PC orthodoxy which says it’s verboten to criticise the Brown Mafia.
