    La Edwards has clearly never never seen front line service. Like most hippy lefties she’s guilty of projecting her own refined and selected prejudices (dare I say fantasies?) into words. To be charitable, perhaps she’s extrapolating from her intense post-grad research on Game of Thrones memes and assorted lady-porn featuring bare-chested pirates?

    Warriors have full confidence in their training, comrades and mission. They don’t require pep-talks on the opportunities available for rape.

    Undisciplined REMF’s and barbarians in shiteholes like Sierra Leone are, of course, another story but Edwards does not draw this very simple and obvious distinction. Sloppy writing and muddy thinking there Doc.
