It is from the Centre that the situational deal-making, the sale (or giving away) of our culture and heritage, the politics of diversion arise. It is the Centre that is to blame for the evil of Ratchet Socialism. It is the Centre that demonises the Right, by labelling as “too extreme” any idea that would have even a remote chance of improving New Zealand’s wealth.’
