‘The PM hopes the Maori Party won’t withdraw foreshore and seabed legislation support after a proposed change making it clear beach access will be free.’
But..but didn’t the PM assure all Kiwis that this legislation would not affect their access to beaches? So why does he now “hope” the Maori Party won’t withdraw their support since he has been forced to include free access in the legislation? Was he lying in the first place–or simply incompetent?
