They have a point. It’s just usually one that they aren’t willing to admit in public. The Jihad comes from the Koran. Every act of Muslim violence that is religiously sanctioned, from terrorism to rape, is derived from the Koran. If you ban incitement to violence against non-Muslims, you criminalize the Koran.

  3. I don’t know KG, without clear definitions any Government that has a law with an ambiguous term like ‘…advocating terrorism…’ can us it is a lot of ways that violate their citizens rights. That said, anything that preserves those rights and destroys Islam has my vote.

  4. This strikes me as a perfect example of Michael Kinsley’s definition of a “gaffe:” When a politician accidentally tells the truth. Islam is a violent, irrational creed designed to seduce a violent, unthinking people. It is terroristic to its core. But style such a creed a “religion” and suddenly the whole schtick about “religious freedom” and “tolerance” comes into play. Imagine what Hitler could have achieved in America had he insisted that Nazism is a religion!

    There’s a reason why the majority of converts to Islam in America come from our prisons…but no one wants to think about that for very long either, do they?

Even if you manage to get enough to put their country first, you can be sure the other lunatics will screw them over.     Even better – the Muslims have actually *admitted* what we knew all along – that Islam equals terrorism.

    I hope that Abbott and co *do* go ahead with this law that bans the encouragement of terrorism. That would be *great* and it’d put really strong pressure on NZ to do likewise.
    Not that “Mr PC” John Key would do so…..
