Damnit, there was a website dedicated to documenting failures, accidents, deaths and suchlike with these bird slicers. Years ago, don’t think I’d find it now. I’m going to keep that picture in my wallet for when folks tell me how it’s perfectly safe to live next to one of those obscenities.

Funny story. I visited a wind farm and immediately felt pressure on my ear drums. Instant headache.
“Naw”, I thought, “must be psychosomatic bias”.
I look over at my 2 year old son and he’s got his hands clamped over his ears. His hands stayed there until we were beyond sight of them.
