I see the usual suspects have come out of the woodwork to agitate for a new Australian flag, Carol. It happens every year, along with claims that flying the flag on Ozday is “racist” and “insulting to other cultures”

And out here in the country, there’s little evidence of the Kiwi infatuation with PC bullshit.
But there are other, personal reasons as well.
Those reasons sound good to me!
Most New Zealanders on the farms and in country towns are pretty non-PC. I do all I can to further that attitude too…
I think that that will become more entrenched over time too (hopefully) given the introduction of Charter Schools. They should be less “PC” than the commie-infested state schools. That should particularly be the case with Vanguard School in Auckland (which is basically a military academy).
I do all I can to keep hammering the theme all around the ‘net – “socialism never works, look at Venezuela, Greece and France.”
