    Works for me…almost. Maybe I still have too much human compassion to see anyone killed. As much as I believe killing the Islamists (Muslims) is the only way to preserve my and all other non-Muslim lives, I am still disturbed by seeing death happen.

      But never ever forget that the same people would be doing the same to us on our streets. They don’t need a particular cause, their “religion” demands they kill infidels. Period.
      What we’re looking at in that video is factional fighting, but if they were united they’d be killing us instead.

      As usual, it’s eyes are turned inward rather than outward. After all, terror attacks on home soil are mothers milk for the authoritarian police state.

      I suppose that’s when you know an empire is on its last legs. When it becomes less concerned with controlling its holdings and more concerned with keeping it’s citizens under thumb.

    What impresses me as former infantryman is how ill trained (if at all) and how lacking the insurgents are in defensive equipment like helmets and bullet proof body armor.

    A person going into combat, especially combat in urban areas, without the proper equipment or training is tantamount to suicide.

    Perhaps that’s the point of the Jihad…get killed quickly in battle and meet the 72 Virgins in Paradise. :evil:

      Some of us didn’t use either helmets or body armor, Ronbo. ;-)
      Sometimes, light and nimble is safer. I’d have hated having to haul around the gigantic loads that seem to be the norm nowadays. In my (very personal) view they’re a handicap, not an asset.

        Yup,I had an older issue of the modern Kevlar/fiberglass helmet on my head once and boy was that sucker heavy,I’d hate to have to pack it around all day.

        On the other hand not being so nimble anymore it would come in handy now :mrgreen:

      The battle field has changed though, so much new tech.
      The IDF is a great example of an efficient modern army, still $$$ though.
      Low tech, you cant beat good shooting, traps and stealth.

        Somebody at work said the WOT will come to an end when one side or the other runs out of stupid.

        So the guy standing up from cover and posing for a sniper is one thing,but how much different is it from Obama claiming terrorism is just “media overhype” or for that matter the 43% who voted for him?The problem here is there exists a vast supply of stupid on both sides and the attrition rate is very slow.

    I read somewhere that the west should be arming the losing side until they’re winning, then switch to the other side, keep them fighting and killing each other so the rest of us can go on in peace.

    I’m not sure that’d work in the long run, perhaps we should simply support those in the middle east who really understand and know how to deal with these isis c***s, like Israel, Jordan and I think Egypt now as well.

    And one last thing, remind the leftist turds who now tell us oh maybe we should try and keep the fight over there than back at home that …. er yeah genius…. that’s what the cowboy George Bush was saying all along. Back when you were being a treacherous sack of shit driving the knife into his back.
