But Key says he “might” change the way MP’s pay rises are calculated.
Might. Sometime. If. Maybe.
Given the Slithering Weasel’s record so far, that means never.
Too true, KG, too darn true. So, Key and co get huge payrises, backdated from last June, whilst the rest of us are lucky for a one per cent increase…now that’s justice…not. Same old…corrupt to the core…
I’m liking Scott Walker,he’s got three things going for him.#1 He quit university,#2 He does what he says he’s going to do,#3 He already has proven three times that he can hand the left a good shellacking even in a Blue state.
Teaparty needs to gear up and prevent that this go around IMO and there is a chance we might. The media can do what it wants, but they don’t control the delegates at the convention.Gaining control of the state party structure is the key and we have been doing just that.
Yup,and unlike Obama he really did grow up poor, really did attend college, isn’t afraid to have his grades open to the public and really did become successful on his own merit.
Choose the best of both worlds. As soon as I have the cash I’m getting a mid range red dot scope (2 moa dot with halo) and sticking a flip up magnifier behind it.
The Gecko’s .357 Marlin is a pre-takeover one and it’s a superb tool. I bought a later Marlin in 30-30 and it was nowhere near as good, with one of the worst triggers ever.
Red dot. I have two. Not as accurate as a traditional scope, given the size of the dot, but super fast to get on target. Have one on the .357 and one on a .22 rifle. Batteries go forever if you remember to turn the scope off when done with it.
Thanks Os. The Marlin .357 won’t be used at anything much over 100m anyway, and on deer, so extreme accuracy isn’t an issue.
It’s just that I prefer it to the Sako .243.
Y’know, I have emphysema and every doc I’ve spoken to has blamed it on the fact that I smoke.
Yet over the years I’ve inhaled vast amounts of wood dust, asbestos dust, solvent fumes, fibreglass grinding dust…..
Apparently, they don’t count.
Yup,my town has a smoking ban in public buildings, customers at work go to step outside to smoke and we tell them, don’t worry,go ahead and smoke, the stuff in the air inside here is much worse than anything in that cigarette
Betcha don’t know what LGBTTQQFAGPBDSM means. Look it up at cityjournal.org Heather Macdonald at this fine journal writes “Not your parents’ open house.” Then weep!
The progressive movement is in danger of grinding to a halt under the sheer weight of their acronyms.
If it weren’t for a copy and paste function they’d have to buy a new keyboard every other week.
It really quite hilarious. Imagine the horror when they go back and read formerly politically correct blog content posted a year ago, and it’s missing TQQFAGPBDSM at the end of every LBGT.
Remember Winston’s job in Orwell’s 1984? Rewriting old articles to edit out inconsistencies with the “new truth”?
Bring on the blatant stupidity. It’s music to my ears!
‘Swedish multiculturalism;
In 1975, the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the formerly homogeneous Sweden into a multicultural country. Forty years later the dramatic consequences of this experiment emerge: violent crime has increased by 300%. If one looks at the number of rapes, however, the increase is even worse. In 1975, 421 rapes were reported to the police; in 2014, it was 6,620. That is an increase of 1,472%.’
That’s what comes from importing all those white Presbyterians…..

Troughers’ payrises, again, unstopped by Key, again. Like, in the bloody thousands. Stinks. So, so undeserved
But Key says he “might” change the way MP’s pay rises are calculated.

Here’s hoping……
And here’s a prediction: The GOP will adopt Obama’s executive amnesty for illegals more or less intact.
That’s a given, they sold us out before the mid-terms.That is why we got Thad shoved down our throats, the GOPe is full tilt big business/cheap labor.

The left’s’ worst nightmare.
Trying to decide between a red dot or a pistol scope for the .357 lever gun here. The red dot is a lot cheaper.

No reason the AR15aholics should have all the fun.
I’m also in the market for a .357 lever gun but the Marlins seem to be the only ones with side eject and they’re a little pricey for me just now.
The Marlin line isn’t what it used to be either. If you could find a pre 64′ Winchester 94 they side eject.

I hear that they’ve got those issues ironed out. Particularly the trigger.
The key would be to get one fresh, that wasn’t an older throwback sent to us poor plebs downunder.
As for an older Winchester, I’d never be able to bring myself to tap it and stick fancy new optics on top.
I gave away a lovely old Winchester model 70 that I’d restored when we left Oz, Wombat.
I should have kept that and given away the Sako instead.
