  1. I’ve yet to see a potential Republican contender promise to overturn this crap.
Time is running out, because a lot of the damage wrought by this administration and its bureaulackeys will be expensive and difficult to undo.

  2. Folks like us look back in history and see the small details that lead up to huge attrocities.

I expect that historians will look back at the shut-down of these power plants and see it as the groundwork toward leveraging the remaining power to threaten red state holdouts with death by hypothermia and heatstroke.

    Engineer shortages.

    Reward compliancy with survival.

Punish rebellion with starvation and exposure.

This has been the mainstay of collectivist regimes since their inception.

      • They’ll organise when they get cold and hungry.

And they’ll win, eventually, but they’ll never forgive themselves for the massive losses they might have avoided if they didn’t allow the times of plenty to make them go soft in the head.

  3. Also keep in mind that one component of this strategy of creating a huge mess is to impose the cost of the clean up. 1) Create plan of ruination; 2) Implement plan; 3) Misuse assets to achieve plan; 4) Incur costs which obligate others to utilize assets to remediate.
Meanwhile, there are ‘side issues’ simultaneously implemented such as playing the blame game, planting false narrative, etc. Propaganda towards fracturing the opposition. The opposition is less a ‘who’ and more a ‘what’. The what is the foundational values and beliefs of these United States of America.
