    Great essay.

There is a simple test for “hate speech”. If your offensive speech is inciting violence UPON the people you are offending then that is hate speech. If it is inciting violence FROM the offended then it is not, it is merely free speech. This is so simple that a child can understand it. Sadly, the average intelligence of most journalists does not seem to extend to the level of an 8-year-old.

And at times, even that’s a generous estimate, MacD. Too many of them seem to veer between ignorance and malevolence.

“But according to human rights activists, military officials have been promising conscripts financial incentives to sign contracts that make them professional soldiers.”

I can understand how the process of being offered a job could be seen as an affront to human rights by the average “activist”. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

As for the rest, we can see how the evil red army mercilessly asks for volunteers to go to the Ukraine and then mercilessly allows them to quit when they get sick of it.

Seriously. If I were tossing wrenches in the globalist machine like Putin is, and NATO suddenly evicted my friendly next door neighbour, shifted in someone who hated my guts and then decided to park some nasty shit on their lawn then I would certainly be “pro-active” about my response.

I never lived through the cold war. I don’t have an axe to grind with Russia. As far as I can tell Russia stands for Russia and NATO stands for globalism.

p.s. Funfact. Globalist and globalism are flagged under Firefox’s Australian-english spell check, but not their American-english spell check.

    About those “disappearing” ice caps:
‘..Record Antarctic sea ice is forcing scientists to consider relocating research bases as they struggle to cope.
Satellite observations show a new daily record being set for Antarctic sea ice every day for the past two weeks. Annual records have also been broken every year for the past three years…’

On the same day, the NZ Herald publishes this load of tripe:
‘Sea levels are rising at faster clip as polar melt accelerates, study shows’
