  1. Good comment from Daniel Greenfield:
‘..ISIS is not a reaction. It’s the underlying pathology in the Muslim world. Everything planted on top of that, from democracy to dictatorships, from smartphones to soft drinks, suppresses the disease. But the disease is always there. The left insists that Western colonialism is the problem. But the true regional alternative to Western colonialism is slavery, genocide and the tyranny of Jihadist bandit armies…’

    • What’s the go with Iran and ISIS. I can’t work out the angles in this dirty dirty war. Was Iran declaring jihad on ISIS just a ruse??? Is Iran using ISIS as a proxy army??? (I thought ISIS is the US and Saudi’s proxy army)

I can’t make heads or tails of it

        • Yep,and the only real disagreement between them is who will be in control of the caliphate once it’s established.

  2. What do you want to know?

Generally, reloading straight walled cases is easy and a good place to learn.

    • Thanks for the link. The hand press looks like it’d be enough, and I have scales and primer stuff already. It’s not as though I’ll be loading hundreds of rounds anyway.

  3. Tip:
Spread your cases out on a cloth and give a light spray with CRC 808 Silicon or equivilent. Roll them about and spread the lube, removing the excess.

The cases will be a LOT easier to resize.

    • Thanks. The one attempt I had at reloading, I got a .243 case stuck in the die. :(

      • Very easy to do, esp with steeply necked down cases like the .243

  4. Nice hunters’ moon here, not a cloud, quite cool temperature. No guns. Here. Or there, I hope. This is a beautiful night to walk the countryside. Immigrant people don’t seem to like the countryside like we do. Jews do, now that they own much of it, West Indians do now that they have been here for a while. The latest lot only use it as a training camp. Guns there maybe, not here. My Dad (b. 1920, d. 2009) was a crack shot with his Lee Enfield Junior at age ten. How comfortable is his son with guns? Who do we turn to? Who has the fire power? A night like this ought to be punctuated by the occasional report. Surely?

    • Yes,the regulatory agencies have gone nuts under Obama and his ilk.Just last month a customer of mine in the gravel and sand screening business was abruptly shut down by MSHA (Mining Safety and Health) because now all screening operations fall under their regulatory power instead of OSHA.So now even office workers in these plants must have hi-vis vests, hard hats, ear plugs and face masks and attened two day safety classes on a yearly basis.

  5. So how come everyone complains about government red tape but we frequently hear about groups, businesses, and individuals that manage to avoid proper oversight and rip off taxpayers for millions every year? http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif
