A question for Audrey Young,

the NZ Herald’s political editor:
Why have you never adequately covered the concerns raised about the secrecy surrounding the TPP trade deal?
‘Labour MPs’ TPP protests under fire’
This site is no friend to leftist scumbags, but at the same time, the National government has no right to sign Kiwis up to a deal the details of which remain secret.

Actually, yes it does. Provided that they can get the votes to ram it through the Parliament, the can do anything they damn well please.

    • And they will as MP’s (those that are elected) no longer support their constituents but bow to their Party’s demands instead.

      • We all have the right to exercise free will, which is to say we have the right to do whatever we please.

We lost our balls when we conceded that if a right wasn’t enshrined on a magical piece of paper in a government office somewhere that it didn’t exist.

Our governors have forgotten the fear of torches and pitchforks. They need a crash course. The basest right is the right to bash the head of the man in front of you with a rock until he dies.

Our so called leaders have forgotten that society is cultivated under the absence of coercion. Not under the abundance of it.

      • True, but it is a disturbing trend that those tasked with destroying our nation are always list-only, so they never have to answer to the electorate; they are answerable only to the party hierarchy.

Think Margaret Wilson, Chris Finlayson, Tim Groser. Traitors and rogues, all.

  2. The pollies actually treat the citizens with absolute, brazen contempt. They don’t even bother to hide it anymore. Once inside parliament, they just do as they damn well please.
This has been happening for decades, but they are more bolder than before; the masses are complacent and they know it.

  3. I heard Key on Fox today. It was an interview that must have been taped in Davos – there was snow in the background. The gist of the interview was how great he felt that his government had managed to devalue the NZ dollar against the US dollar because it was hurting our exports to China. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_negative.gif Thanks you wanker, you have just stolen about 25% of my wealth; that is over and above my taxes.
