This cannot – will not – be fixed

by any legal means:
‘How a cabal of tax-payer funded groups is waging a vicious war on ministers trying to solve the Calais crisis’
Not by the courts, not by the ballot box and not by public outrage.

The next sound we hear should be the snapping shut of wallets and purses all across the UK.

And the squeals of politicians and bureaucrats as they’re dragged to the public gallows.

“Ministers trying to solve the Calais crisis”. The words “to appear to” would show up in honest reporting.

Ministers have allowed themselves to be boxed into a corner by this reprehensible thing called “public opinion” and need a way out. These fake charities are there to provide the way out both by exerting their own pressure and also by using the EU courts to give a veneer of a “Treaty Obligations” excuse to not do anything. Not doing anything is what “the script” calls for.

Let us not be too quick consigning the politicians to their street lamps for we need to find the names of their puppeteers. And then see if we have enough street lamps to enable light to shine on the matter.
