Very cool indeed!

‘Fired Italian hired on the spot at pizzeria
“At Gina’s we love people who say ‘hi darling’.”
One of Auckland’s favourite Italian restaurants has come to the rescue of Luca Cicioni, the Italian tourist who lasted one day in his forklift job after saying “hi darling” to his female boss…’
I hope the sniffy self-important intolerant cow who sacked him is this morning suitably embarrassed – but I doubt it somehow.

Bloody LOVE Gina’s! Been there several times, and will be sure to go again next time I’m in the neighbourhood. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

    Food for thought.

From funds that sprung up in defense of Christian businesses over in the US to this act of kindness locally, a resistance to the progressives is starting to form organically.

    • KG says:

I bloody well hope so, Wombat.
In fact, the media and social media make these pricks seem far more numerous than they really are, and that’s a problem. Especially when politicians listen to the squawking and whining of the SJWs and formulate policy on the basis of it.

      • tranquil says:

        I agree with Wombat.

This resistance and *scorn* for the “cultural elite” is exactly what Trump is tapping into.
It is the masses saying that “we know BS when we see it” (like when traitor Cameron spouts his “this has nothing to do with Islam” BS).

Ok, there’s still a long way to go but I get the feeling that the left is starting to collapse under the sheer weight of its foolishness, arrogance, hypocrisy and “hollowness”.
By hollowness, I mean that the left is a “shell” with nothing inside it except bitterness and abuse.
The Right, on the other hand, has *solid* cultural values. We’ve taken a battering but “what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger”.

        • Wombat says:

Unfortunately our monetary system has been hollowed out from the inside and out societal framework has been reduced to ant-ridden dust ready to collapse as soon as it’s put under any strain.

We can resist and prepare as individuals and as small communities, but there is nothing left to salvage in the ruins of the old order.

          • tranquil says:

            Fair comments, Wombat.

In a new world, I would ban both Islam and left-wing support. I believe that both are so dangerous that they can’t be included in an otherwise-free society.
(I’d be tempted to make belief in either of them a death-sentence crime).

I wonder if the ultimate (ideal) world would be very small communities living much as the Amish do? Simple lives, good conservative values.

            • The Gantt Guy says:

You can’t “ban” iSlam or left-wing support, tranquil. You can’t outlaw patterns of thought or belief.

You can, however, outlaw the outward manifestations of those patterns. Bulldoze mosques, outlaw halal slaughter, proscribe trade unions, etc.

              I dream of the day…

Interesting, isn’t it, that these cringeing PC assholes like the woman who sacked the guy would be the first to cite “cultural differences” had the Italian man been a stinking Arab and a muslim.
His real sin is being a heterosexual white European male.

    • tranquil says:

      Agreed.
This woman would have gone out of her way to forgive the guy had he been a Muslim.

    • Wombat says:

I suspect the woman noticed the Italian trousersnake he was smuggling and was overwhelmed by a rush of foreign sensations others might describe as heterosexual lust.

Fearing the dams of her sterile, androphobic world might burst at any second in a torrent of unrestrained desire, she banished the offending cloud of masculine pheromones from the range of her senses, then to retreat to her office and breath into a paper bag for an hour or so. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_mail.gif

  4. mawm says:

She obviously does not have the managerial skills to hold her position. It makes one wonder if her appointment was an “affirmative” one.

She should be named and shamed over the whole on-line universe.

    • Darin says:

IMO the bare minimum requirement to manage is knowing who you’re people are,she failed in that right out the gate.

  5. Ronbo says:

A woman clerk at the grocery store called me. “Honey” the other day.

    I AM SO OFFENDED!http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

I think I need to “lawyer up”! http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

    • The Gantt Guy says:

Or, you could take it as the compliment it was intended, understand that she was being friendly – in her own special way – smile, say thank you and move on.

You know, like a grown-up does.

  6. Flashman says:

    The hell with GERARD ROOFS.

Did you get that? GERARD ROOFS.
