The NZ Herald: Recycling “progressive” bullshit.

No country can stand aside if it wants to be recognised as a fully participating member of the international community…’
Well, by that definition, very, very few countries qualify.
The truth is, of course, that there’s no such thing as “the international community”. The idea is a fantasy of collectivist feelgood clowns that belongs with unicorns and fairies. That’s not to say it isn’t useful to the statists who would control every aspect of our lives….
A “duty to help”? Where did this “duty” spring from?
Countries which adhere to civilized norms of behavior, to the rule of law and to the concept of property rights (however imperfectly) have no damn duty at all to piss away taxpayer’s money and the peaceful, civilized aspects of their societies to a wave of barbarians invading them from the dysfunctional hellholes those barbarians created.
It could be argued that by giving aid and shelter to the invaders, we in the West are helping to perpetuate the conditions which produced them. After all, being able to simply export the debris from tribal, religious and factional conflict is reducing the pressure on those hellholes to reform themselves.
It should also be obvious that very, very many of these so-called “refugees” and “migrants” have no intention whatsoever of assimilating into our cultures – they view themselves as enemies of the West and Western values and norms. They’re very ready to take advantage of our weakness and generosity though, which explains their use of children as propaganda tools. Propaganda that’s used by the leftists to put more pressure on governments to further their multiculti fantasies.
Fairfax Media, which owns the NZ Herald is more than willing to push the Party line and most Kiwis are oblivious to the fact that they’re being relentlessly propagandised. Hell, most of them don’t even know what the word means.
‘This child’s death was tragic but it was not our fault’
and:
‘a purely emotional response could put at risk our very way of life’

    I wonder if New Zealand would accept me as a refugee seeking political asylum?

    After all, I’m a white man and Christian being oppressed by the evil Obama Regime!

    I promise to pay my own way in Kiwi-land – and will even sign a contract with the NZ government to that effect.

    Random, impertinent questions:
    1. Are Saudi, Jordan, Iraq and Iran taking in extra “refugees”?
    2. Why are the “refugees” going through Turkey instead of into it?
    3. Why are there very few “refugee” camps? They seem to prefer to slip into the countries they are “migrating” to.
    4. Why are the refugees mostly young to middle-aged males?
    5. Why are these men not staying to fight ISIS?

    Here’s a question, how bout all the countries in the international debtor’s courts, most countries owe money, how bout they pay off there debt in full before helping the little refugee’s out. Are you aware the the IMF and world bank started at a UN monetary conference, and most countries owe money. So the international community, is all about debtor nations, not being able to pay their way.
