    Interestingly, the Romans had ample warning before they fell. Attila the Hun had several attempts to take Rome prior to the Goths and Vandals but they did not learn. Will it be too late for western society to learn in this case.

    The fall of Rome began in 375 A.D. when the Goths were allowed to cross the mile wide Danube into the Roman Empire because they were on the run from the Huns…..Change a few names and dates around and sounds like recent news.

    But like the man said in the article, the Roman Empire was dead before the barbarians kicked the corpse in the grave – dead of suicide in the almost 100 years of civil wars in the 3rd century and totalitarian government in the 4th century – and the case can be made that modern Europe is following the same sad example – a suicide attempt in 1914-18 that was followed by the real deal in 1939-45 – and rule afterward by weakling socialist governments along with the rest of the suicide package: low birthrates, falling marriage rates, toleration of homosexual lifestyle, drug addiction, etc.

    Europe only held together after 1945 because of domination by America and Russia; today America has all but withdrawn – and corpse of modern Europe will be stood on either by the Russians or Islam.
