It wouldn’t be the first time the Poles saved Europe and Christianity:

I used to work with a Polish guy who took part in the resistance movement against the Russians during the 1970s – Boy, did he have some stories to tell!

After being active for years, the Russians and commie traitor Poles got on his act and he had to flee Warsaw to the West, escaping by way of Checkpoint Charlie into the American sector of West Berlin.

This last episode was a saga in itself – the Polish resistance had by that time a number of East Germans working with them – who had linked with the intelligence services in the West – and first he traveled to East Berlin (The Polish border with Germany is only 30 miles from the city) and was dropped off only a few blocks from Checkpoint Charlie in East Berlin near a public restroom – and he went in as directed to a certain toilet stall where someone threw a bag with a complete U.S. Army private’s uniform over the top of the stall after about 15 minutes and a quick exchange of passwords.

When he came out a few minutes later dressed as a private, a Polish speaking U.S. Army sergeant gave him a quick uniform inspection – and they went out to have a coffee and further instruction on the dos and donts of the famous Checkpoint Charlie.

It turned out the U.S. Army sergeant was the real McCoy serving in Military Intelligence and fluent in Polish – and had to work crazy on my friend to keep him calm, which the coffee didn’t help at all.

Finally, after about a half hour in the coffee house, the duo went down the last two blocks to the Checkpoint AND WALKED RIGHT PAST THE EAST GERMAN BORDER GUARDS WITHOUT A WORD TO WEST BERLIN!

You see, the United States never acknowledged the existence of the DDR – East Germany – and Berlin was still an occupied city – where troops of the Allied Powers of WW II – Britain, America, France and Russia – had the right to ignore the East German checkpoints WHILE IN UNIFORM – and would answer only to other Allied troops – and since the Russians DID NOT HAVE TROOPS STATIONED AT CHECKPOINT CHARLIE THERE WAS NO INSPECTION, PASSPORTS,VISAs, etc. needed for uniformed Allied troops.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

Of course, the other side of the Checkpoint Charlie was manned by friendly MPs – who quickly checked I.D.s (which my friend had been provided by the sergeant) and they waved them into freedom.

Needless to say, M.I. was quite pleased to get a defector from Polish resistance in Warsaw and gave him the red carpet treatment, money, new I.D. and passport.

…after a short debriefing in at the CIA “Farm” near Warrenton, Virginia that only lasted a few months…http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

I think this happened in 1980…

All my life I’ve admired the Poles for their patriotism and courage.

It’s amazing any Poles survived WW II – massacred by Hitler and Stalin for six years – Warsaw was the most destroyed city in Europe – 25% of the population killed, wounded and missing.

The Nazi Death factories were mostly in Poland…Auschwitz! …. horror upon horror visited upon an innocent nation.

  3. KG says:

Poles almost define the word “warrior”. The story of the Polish pilots in ww2 is amazing.

Yup. I have to agree with what you’ve said above. And these supporters are really showing us all up. Top stuff.

Funny, I’ve not seen this story published in any of the mainstream news outlets. Wonder why? http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

The UK Daily Mail covered it and even the ‘moderated’ comments were in full flow of support. (I’m totally banned from commenting there although they haven’t had the balls to actually come out and say so as they simply don’t print anything I submit. Been that way for years since I managed to slip a juicy one past their semi-literate juvenile interns http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_whistle3.gifhttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_mail.gifhttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_smile.gif
