Open house

raspberry-pi-zero-_3510862e  ‘The Raspberry Pi Foundation has unveiled what is possibly the world’s cheapest and smallest fully-functioning computer, the miniature Raspberry Pi Zero.
At £4 (or $5 abroad), with half a gigabyte of RAM and a 1GHz processor, the Linux-running Zero packs a level of hardware that would until recently be unthinkable at this price, and was found in premium laptops only a decade ago…’

Haven’t played with the Raspberry yet,but have used the Arduino for a few things-

I have the control for this Arduino based dividing head built and working, but I still have to build the spindle.

There are a ton of add on boards and features for them, the possibilities are endless and the boards can be daisy chained together to increase the capacity.

When I read about that atrocity, I just knew what the perps would look like – and so, I’m sure, did the vast majority of people.
But we’re not allowed to say so, are we?

Sadly even though these three check all the boxes for the death penalty, even if convicted and sentenced to death, they will go on stealing oxygen for another 20 years before we finally flip the switch on them.

I’m thinking of e-mailing the Indiana attorney general’s office and volunteering to build a gallows if no sturdy Oak tree is available.

Well I just bought a new laptop for my son with windows 10 on it.

To say the OS is a complete piece of shit would be the understatement of the century.

The laptop comes with a dvdrom but will not play dvds. Genius, right? I’ve just spent the last four hours fixing this fucking thing to the tune of a gig worth of downloads all so it will do the shit I took for granted with windows 7. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_negative.gif

    • Darin says:

Yup,Microstuffed strikes again.Best fix is to go on Ebay and buy a licensed copy of 7 and install that. Then e-mail MS and tell them what a miserable POS 10 is and that you ditched it.

      • Wombat says:

Both good options, but it’s being used for school purposes wherein compatibility issues might arise if you’re not using a laptop with an OS designed for a tablet. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

Who’s this going to be aimed at? Akhmed or Alfred?

    • The Gantt Guy says:

That’s gotta be a rhetorical question. Anyone who thinks the members of the Australian Liberty Alliance and Restore Australia movements won’t be first on the target list are too stupid to continue stealing oxygen.

      • Ronbo says:

So far the measures taken by our Government since 9/11 have worked quite well – against the U.S. Constitution, which above all limits the power of Government.

Therefore, based on what has happened in the past, poor cousin Alfred of Australia better start packing for prison and start hoping he gets a bottom bunk.
