This is where we are going wrong, by shutting down dissent and debate we are shutting down science. Once upon a time we were taught that proper science is where someone does an experiment and gets result “x”, that scientist then repeats that experiment until result x is repeatable. Others do the same experiment, introducing variables. Progress is made. Right now, we are not making progress, we are going back to some prehistoric priesthood which got the villages’ virgins by predicting salmon runs or summat.
