  1. Kiwi media headline:
‘World finally strikes a legally binding climate change deal to curb emissions and limit global warming to below 2C. ‘
Has anybody informed the sun and the earth?

    • The Herald, “journalism” at it’s best.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

Article 6. 3. The use of internationally transferred mitigation outcomes to achieve nationally determined contributions under this Agreement shall be voluntary and authorized by participating Parties.

Article 20. This Agreement shall be open for signature and subject to ratification, acceptance or approval by States and regional economic integration organizations that are Parties to the Convention.

Article 28. 1. At any time after three years from the date on which this Agreement has entered into force for a Party, that Party may withdraw from this Agreement by giving written notification to the Depositary.

      • Point B. Berwick’s penchant for nuking large cities remains blissfully ignorant of the decade long winter that a mere dozen burning metropoli would cause.

          • decade long winter that a mere dozen burning metropoli would cause

Yeah well, that would fix “global warning” then well & good wouldn’t it? Point is: “Nuclear Winter” is just as much crap as “Global Warming” ever was — but if Global Warming was real, all the pollution comes from China & the cheapest & easiest way to solve it would be to — stop China.

            • You have the geopolitical and scientific acumen of an oxygen starved chimp, mate.

It’s people like you that give the Right a bad name.

  2. Perhaps we should just nuke Paris while the idiot climatologists are still there. Then we could rationally discuss whether there is anything amiss at all, and decide to do nothing about a non-problem.

  3. Buy that man a beer! Hopefully, he’s the first of many:
‘Man accused of hate crime, arson in Calif. mosque fire’

The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers…” Erdogan

  4. But they tap your ‘phone and read your emails…..

Talked openly about violent jihad… ‘

        • As Steyn said: “Their rigorous two year vetting program involves the application gathering dust for two years before being rubber stamped.”

  5. I reinstalled firefox recently and haven’t shifted from google.com for my homepage yet.

At any rate, google.com seems to be… well… gone.

“Firefox can’t find the server at http://www.google.com.”

That’s a new one on me. Google.au is still working. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

    • I think Google and blogger addys have all been “localised” Wombat. For the purpose of tracking users…..

      • Reckon you’re right.

That, and I’m guessing they bowed to pressure to remove the generic service so that governments could more effectively censor content.

    • Amazing, that people who admit to fucking up their life are often the ones who feel the most compelled to lecture the rest of us.

Reminds me of a woman who tried to lecture me on driving. Her rationale was that I’d never had an accident and she’d had several, so she had more experience.

From the article. “One standard drink a day is all an older person should be having…”

I weigh 200 pounds, fuckwit. One standard drink for me is little more than mouth wash. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_negative.gif

I’m sitting here, full of codeine and morphine and I just had two beers…I’m obviously doomed!

    • What the people who sneer at IS have forgotten, or never knew, is what happened during the invasion of Spain/Andalucia. As soon as they landed on the shore, their commander had them burn all their boats. That way they had to fight to the death, there was no other choice.

Nothing IS do is by chance, it is all either in the Koran or Hadith or is following an example of some great Muslim warrior from the period of the “Rightly Guided Caliphs”.

      • True enough, Yokel but IS still has a large number of incompetents and idiot cannon-fodder, and sneering/poking fun at some of their antics is entirely appropriate.

        • I’m sure that Turkey will be willing to airlift any trapped IS fighters out of the city.

    • Excellent article, full of important truths. I particularly like:
“..their belief that gun control solves rather than encourages gun violence, their belief that junk science overrules real science, their belief that minimum wage laws diminish rather than promote poverty, their belief that a diversity in cultures and races benefits rather than erodes social bonds, their belief that gay marriage is the same as marriage, their belief that throwing petrol on a fire quenches it, this and countless others are beliefs taken on faith…”
      Bold mine.

      • The only way to have a rational discussion with a liberal is when they are at the point of your gun: and frankly, it’s far better just to pull the trigger.

      • Another great excerpt: “It is the attitude of a nagging wife unwilling to divorce a hard-working husband and provider she hates and loathes.”

        • Interesting concept, about the entire basis of left wing thinking being to avoid reality.

I would be very interested to know what percentage of conservatives/progressives are on illegal or prescription mood altering substances. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

  6. Banana republic:
‘ PM gets $13,556 pay boost

New pay rates pushes John Key’s salary to almost half a million dollars and Andrew Little’s to $281,881…’

  7. Le Pen loses, but not in the sense that matters. The game is afoot and the fuse is burning.

    http://theweek.com/speedreads/594084/french-farright-national-front-le-pen-come-mostly-empty-regional-elections

emphasis added “…rather than split the vote, the Socialists withdrew their candidates in those races and urged their voters to support the Republican. “Here we stopped the progression of the National Front,” said Xavier Bertrand, who beat Marine Le Pen in the Nord-Pas de Calais region by 15 percentage points. Le Pen said her party had been beaten by the political elite. b”It’s not the left and the right anymore, its globalists and patriots,” she said. “This distinction will be the grand distinction of the presidential elections.”

She has won an important victory. The globalists have had to drop the facade of the phony socialist/republican battle and reveal themselves for the stooges they all are.

  8. http://gatesofvienna.net/2015/12/war-you-invited-us/

So it turns out that a so called refugee is a little confused. Apparently most of Syria is not so bad, but he only traveled to Germany because “…in the internet, we saw that Germany is looking for people who want to live here. You invited us to come here. And it said the state would take care of us and we would find work here.”
