I happened to be on leave in Hong Kong in 1968 from the U.S. Army when “The Good, The Bad And The Ugly” hit town and stood in a block long line of Chinese to get a seat at in a crowded theater with the alleged “Biggest Screen In Asia.”
It was quite an experience – the dialogue was English, but with Chinese subtitles – and noodles with tea instead of popcorn and coke for the audience.
LOVED IT!
