I’m not sure that this is true. More importantly, to them, the child was kept out of the clutches of the medical profession who, can you believe it, are just going to medicalise childbirth!

  2. Michael in Nelson says:

I guess the part that really go under my skin was the ‘punishment’ for serious neglect of care…the midwives apologised to the mother and the senior midwife took additional training…WTF!!! Their negligence killed the kid! Not even a fine?! Compensation to the mother?! Nope, they are ‘advised to follow the council’s guidelines’. *spit!*

    • mawm says:

Michael, if you had any knowledge of how much harm they have done without any censure you’d be even more angry. These are Hulun’s creation!

  3. Grog says:

BZ has a link to Bill Maher’s expounding on muzzies

    http://bloviatingzeppelin.net/bill-maher-correct-about-islam/

Surprisingly, an accurate view of the present from a leftist. Granted, Maher is more intelligent that 75% of the leftists, but maybe he’s a centrist in disguise. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gifhttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

    • KG says:

Maher is one of the very, very few leftists who seem to “get” the threat islam represents.

  4. mawm says:

“We’re confident that the majority of midwives follow the Referral Guidelines, consulting with specialists when cases become complex……”

Nothing could be further from the truth. Their training is so inadequate and is more about ideology than scientific fact. Time and time again they will just simply ignore a medical problem because it is so far beyond their knowledge.

Quite simply, they do not know what they don’t know!

    • KG says:

Yep. And in what other profession can you kill somebody by negligence and walk away penalty-free?

The Featherston baker whose car was stolen and later crashed by four teenagers, killing two of them, says they brought their deaths on themselves.
“You always get the sob story about the tragic loss of life … in the end, those guys had a choice about whether to get into a stolen car,” Martin Grice said.
“There’s just no consequences – until now, of course.”

The age of criminal responsibility should be lowered to age 8 and the juvenile justice system should be centered around hard labor IMO.

There was once a county supervisors meeting I attended where the problems of expanding the county jail and adding a recycling program to the landfill next door were up for public comment.
I stood up and told them move the jail to the landfill and use the prisoners for labor.Chain them to a conveyor sorting garbage. Two months good behavior and they can earn a pair of gloves. That way I figure after the 10,000th,rotten,week old baby diaper their attitude might change about obeying the law.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

“The age of criminal responsibility should be lowered to age 8 and the juvenile justice system should be centered around hard labor IMO.”
And that would halve juvenile offending in this country, at least. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

        • andy5759 says:

Darin, I have been suggesting similar for years. Put the unemployed on the conveyor belt too. A bit of out of the box thinking couldcturn this country (England) around. For example, councils can’t afford to maintain grass verges, my suggestion is to get a herd of goats, herded by all of these goat-herd immigrants. Result, verges cropped, immigrants put to work, council cheese, yoghurt and goat curry fed to the immigrants in their secure accommodation.

            • Darin says:

Here we used to have chain gangs,10-12 prisoners chained together by the ankle with enough stack they could hoe Cotton or dig ditches.
It was an efficient system, each day had a quota, and if the quota wasn’t met whoever was slow walking got a lesson from the others on the gang so the following day production picked back up.

One trustee(sheriff’s deputies were busy solving crimes, what few there were)could oversee two chain gangs by merely watching over them with a 12ga pump shotgun.
The prisoners on the gang would not try and run,if they did even 10 of them would have a hard time dragging the two or three the trustee shot during the attempt. And if the trustee allowed anyone to escape,he was tasked with tracking them down,or their sentence would be added to his own and he would take the escapee’s place on the gang.Call it the incentive program.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

We had that system in my county until about 1984 when some bleeding heart decided being on the chain gang was embarrassing and making them work was “immoral”http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

  9. Redbaiter says:

Shawna Cox, one of the Oregon militia has been released from jail. She was in the same car as Lavoy Finicum when he was shot.

She says that they Feds had already fired shots at the car before Lavoy exited it and a number of shots directly at Lavoy while he had his hands in the air.

She also seems to say that he had a pistol in a holster on his hip when he was gunned down, and said if he was going to reach for a gun, he would have been more likely to go for that one than one in a pocket or shoulder holster.

Just not sure if this is indeed what she says as the tape is not so good, but I am going to try and clean it up a bit tomorrow and see if I can get more out of it.

    • KG says:

“She also seems to say that he had a pistol in a holster on his hip when he was gunned down, and said if he was going to reach for a gun, he would have been more likely to go for that one than one in a pocket or shoulder holster.”
hmm..I’m not so sure. If he was wearing a heavy/bulky coat or jacket, it may have been easier to go for a gun in an inside coat pocket. (assuming that was his intent)

I agree with KG that these Oregon militia guys picked the wrong hill to die on, although they were death right on the U. S. Constitution. I suppose their purpose was to start the revolution, but as we have discussed many times here at CR, the revolution runs on its own time schedule.

    • Darin says:

This reminds me of a documentary about manufacturing in China. There were two types of factories in China, state run and private.
The private run factories were clean, well maintained and staffed by the minimum number of people required to do the various tasks at hand with pay commensurate with ability.
The state run factory had people they didn’t need and regardless of what they did, everyone was paid the same. One person in particular was the factory sign painter whose job it was to paint the various patriotic work slogans around the plant.
Everyone else resented him because he was lazy and did a terrible job,but because he had an uncle that was a local party boss he got the job.

Mrs Click is a f–king sign painter.
