A few days ago I suggested people start buying ammunition, not just for protection but as currency. Eeyore over at VladTepesBlog had a more subtly way of putting it.

“(Reverse alchemy is by far the most practical of political sciences at this time)”

That was in a response to this article.

Bastards! Utter, utter, utter bastards with their Failure Theatre.

Well, they can’t say they haven’t been warned. Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage and Glen Beck have ALL warned the Republicans that this is the rubicon. Any Republican caves on this, those 4 giants will do all they can to ensure he (or she) gets Eric-Cantored.

In addition, Jeff Sessions (who sits on the committee that will consider nominees) has promised he will do everything he can in committee to ensure no candidate is considered, and no vote taken.

Plus, Ted Cruz (you know, that Canadian guy y’all hate) has said he’ll filibuster any nomination hearing.

If Obama flips the Court, the damage will last generations. In fact, I’d argue if Obama sends another screaming liberal to the Court, it will have a worse impact than either Sanders or Clinton being elected President. OK, in fact in fact, it will be the end of the Republic. The First and Second Amendments will join the 10th in the shredder.

UCT, the University of Cape Town was an outstanding institution…. then the ugly head of racism popped over the wall. Unlike before where the government mandated who could study where, and which was rightly opposed by the administration, the academic staff and the student body, the university decided that the students were to be selected on race and not on academic ability. For instance if you were a white male with excellent academic results you had no chance at all of getting into the second best medical school in Africa. None, zip, nada. The university has continued along these lines with their admission policies. Last year the new breed of student went on a rampage about proposed fee hikes. The government backtracked. Soon afterwards they found the statue of Cecil John Rhodes, the founder of the university and the prestigious Rhodes scholarships to top British universities, offensive and the university administration gave in to their hooliganism and removed his statue. Now these same students are objecting to there being insufficient student accomodation despite good accomodation and meals being provided off campus. So what do they do? Trash the existing facilities course. As you’ll note from the accompanying link to the Guardian (only joking) there is a certain amount of hatred for whites which has occupied the headlines of the BBC and the NY Times for days (no really……not). After all it is overt racism….or not because it is black hatred for whites which is OK.

It was a beautiful university in a magnificent settings at the foot of Devil’s Peak adjacent to Table Mountain. Now it is just home to a bunch of spoilt, uneducable black thugs. The destruction of South Africa continues and the voice of condemnation by John Minto, Peter Haines, the BBC, the Guardian, the NY Times and all those AAM liberals is resounding in its absence. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_mail.gif

The sheer scale of the S.A. tragedy is almost incomprehensible. And I’ve never heard a single Western “anti-apartheid” activist accept a share of the blame for it.

      • The Gantt Guy says:

It’s every single government programme for the past 100 years, writ large. Don’t look at the outcomes, look at the (stated) intent. In this Age of Seeming, it’s the intent that matters.

See, that’s exactly the kind of schoolboy punking bullshit that turns me right the hell off. Trump is the alpha male, clearly. Captain of the football team giving wedgies and flushing the nerdy little geeks head down the toilet.

He’s a bully, he’s rat cunning but not particularly smart, and he throws a trumpertantrum whenever someone asks him a question.

Basically, he’s a democrat (apart from the alpha thing. Actually, scratch the alpha thing; he’s a crybully).

Yes and I fear the US is going to make a bad choice again, but he certainly has destroyed Jeb! and the eGOP time and time again.

So, it turns out Rubio’s too afraid of Conservatives to front up and defend his record. The Conservative Review Convention was on today in South Carolina. Cruz was there, of course, as was Trump, along with other politicians including Dave Brat and Louie Gohmert, along with a bunch of other Conservative stars.

Rubio was scheduled to attend and give a speech, but cancelled 5 minutes before he was supposed to be on. He sent Bobby Jindal, Tim Scott and Trey Gowdy as ‘surrogates’, but the candidates had all been warned surrogates wouldn’t be accepted.

Coward is happy to lie about and smear Cruz, but won’t stand in front of Conservatives and defend his record.

I saw this as pretty depressing, really.

It’s proof positive that the USA has slipped quite far toward being another Colombia or El Salvador.

Time was, that you didn’t give public attention to a popular criminal element. It only added to their fame and notoriety. If you have to resort to this kind of chest-puffing, waving around assault rifles and swanning around in kevlar for the cameras, then it’s an open admission that your streets are no longer governable under traditional policing.

That’s a cultural thing, which is why these men are never going to kill or arrest enough gang-bangers to “fix” their town. All this video says to me is, “we’re going to lose, but we’ll go down fighting”.

Captain Higgins would get better results if he put the cameras away and quietly organised a few death squads. Evidently he wants a violent solution but he seems to be trapped somewhere between a third world reality and a first world fantasy.

‘Trump, the pope, and the Bible
    By Rabbi Aryeh Spero

As a rabbi, it is not for me to decide what is Christian; however, I can speak to what the Bible says about such matters.
…Prior to multiculturalism becoming the single most important virtue, as designated today by society’s ruling class, there was one virtue that stood above all else – namely, the duty of fathers and mothers to protect their children; brothers to protect their sisters; and a country’s leaders to protect the citizens, who rely on their leaders for such protection.  In all classic religious philosophy, the notion of borders, of sovereignty, of responsibility to first protect those under one’s charge was an uncontested imperative.  Deriding the notion of borders, asking that citizens be vulnerable to safety and health dangers is not part of classical thinking; instead, it reflects an EU type of approach, which advocates a nullification of borders, identity, and distinctive cultures and nationhood…’
