Colonel B. Bunny:

‘Total Republican failure.
…For years we thought the Republicans were like a stick of dynamite ready to explode into action in just a day or two more, maybe a week at most. Bang, kapow, thank you Jesus! But it was just never, ever to be. Every darn time it was, to borrow a term from artillerymen and mortarmen, a hang fire. The lanyard got pulled or the round got dropped down the tube but . . . nothing. A dented primer and no flash, no bang…’

    Well said, Colonel!

We need a new party for patriots…How about the American National Party?

“Someone has the naked pictures” is perhaps part of it.

I suspect the larger issue in play is that America, as I’ve said before, is like a boat so dangerously overloaded (with debt) that the waterline is a mere inch below the deck.

This is all the incentive anyone in power needs to avoid rocking the proverbial boat.

America (and most western socialist nations) being completely insolvent is neither something the media handlers want discussed, nor frankly is it something the average citizen even wants to hear.

That said, sooner or later the rats are going to carry the silverware to the lifeboats and then sink the rest of us with the debt. Either that or some unexpected weather will take the “ordered” out of “ordered collapse”.

    GMTA to you Bo!

I’ve said pretty much the same thing for the last several years – when the inevitable “economic correction” comes to America and the world – the game is really over for Leftards – and, yes, like the rats escaping a sinking ship, we know they have purchased little hidey holes in remote places where they hope to ride out the coming storm in comfort.

The upside for people like us is their governments and their institutions and their culture will be flushed down the sewer in no time, because the one thing that won’t be tolerated is a government and ruling class that can’t feed its own people.

    Empty bellies, a revolution makes…

Than they just start WW III as a distraction. So We The People start killing each other as good patriots do.
Grey or blue, does it matter? We are just cannon fodder.

A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon.

“A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon.”
An oft-quoted, stupidly cynical and in any case inaccurate observation.
Soldiers fight for their regiment, for the brother at their shoulder, as a validation of their manhood and proof of their courage, for fear of being thought a coward, for fear that they will always hold their manhood suspect if they don’t test it.
Battle is the ultimate test of a young man, always has been and most probably always will be.
Colored ribbon, if it features in his thinking at all, comes way, way down the list of reasons he’s voluntarily getting the shit shot out of him.

        • Robertv says:

That’s my point. It is very easy to make men (farmers, electricians, bakers, construction workers etc) fight other men (farmers, electricians, bakers, construction workers etc).

While we try to kill our fellow man the elite grows stronger and the freedom we, in theory, are fighting for gets less and less.

My point is We The People are fighting the wrong enemy.

          • Bo Chandler says:

I don’t know anyone personally interested in going to war against Russia, for any reason.

The curse of our age is also a liver lining. We are a nation(s) of lazy cowards, and I suspect the red pill is a lot more commonly taken among the men of the armed forces then it has been in the past.

The elites will be hard pressed to sell a generic do-over in the form of a war. The TPP showed that the left and the right will actually turn their guns away from each other and against the globalists when their treachery becomes too brazen.

    Constitution Party – anyone!>>
    C-CS

      • Ronbo says:

        Constitution?

        What constitution, Carol?

In the last seven years, Obama has taken a power saw to all the standing laws and cut them down.

…and I don’t look for them to be restored because whoever sits in the driver seat in the White House will find a powerful government machine helpful.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of living in a free republic, but what I see in existence is a highly centralized European style government whose bureaucrats stay in place regardless who wins the elections.
