   One doesn’t have to be an expert in European politics to instinctively understand that if these “activists” and their cronies are howling there will be Armageddon if you do “X,” , it is virtually always in your best interest to do “X.”

   KG “shrug.” You and I are equally ancient and I’m inclined to take that view also. Blood pressure, realism and all that, but it is very saddening to realise that our experience and common sense will die with our generation. On the bright side, we will not be around to see the results of the blindsided idiocy of today’s young generation. I would quite like to believe that we will sit on a cloud (harps optional) and watch this business works itself out. ps, but didn’t Plato, or some such, say the same thing long ago?

   The difficulty I have with the bandied about label “Neo-Nazi” is that it is tossed in the direction of practically everyone socialists dislike. I suppose to visiting this site would qualify me to be one in what passes for a brain in a socialist.

   KG ,speaking of rodents, we spent about a hundred bucks on a “sonic” type rodent repellent which does not work. The little ratty bastards come in through the cat door which we need for our dog to avoid his pissing in the house overnight. I don’t like to torture the little mammals with traps or poison. What do you suggest otherwise? 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 ……..

     I’ve always used traps, cats and poison, Mara.
     Poison is painless and the proper traps are about the most humane way to kill a rat. Far more humane than any “natural” end they’re likely to meet anyway.
     But you know that already.
     An electronic possum trap would be very effective and lots of farmers use those. Not sure of the price, though. I’ll have a look at the local farm supplies place.

         I tried just about every trap/bait combination imaginable when the cold weather drove them in this year. No luck. The bastards were just too smart.

         I reluctantly transitioned to poison (the kind housed in protective plastic containers to avoid unintentional poisoning of other animals) and they were “gone” inside the week.

         I don’t like it much, but the hell if I’m ever going back to traps.

   I was a witness to the 2007 neo-Nazi March thru the black section of downtown Orlando, Florida.

   In this case, no violence happened because DHS sent in about one thousand armored “Men In Black” troopers to stand between the Nazis and their potential fascist murderers on the Left.

   I think the Order of Battle was 25 Nazis vs. 300 Leftists.

   Anyhow, about a week later the local newspaper discovered that the head Nazi who coordinated and funded the Hate March was an FBI agent – and had been for years – and this was the reason DHS spent millions on their black clad troops – as the government was concerned downtown Orlando would have been trashed.

   I wonder if the Feds were behind the same sort of affair in California – except this time they didn’t defend the Nazis?

         Are there any good texts or resources for counter intelligence regarding determining who the snoops and snitches in an organisation are?

         This will be a highly relevant skill in the years ahead.
