What a HUUUUGE surprise.
In prison – believe it or not – most inmates are VERY polite to one another – and the reason is simple – if you make someone angry, they may plant a knife in your back before the day is done.
The Old West in 19th century America was another place where – believe it or not -people were VERY polite…and the reason was the same – everyone had a gun strapped on their right hip and they may just blow your brains out if you made them angry, or they felt in danger.
Thus the concealed weapons owner is a VERY polite individual too, that is, unless you get very impolite and attempt to attack him.
In which case you get dead very quick – and the law is on his side – and you need not necessarily have a weapon in your hands – all that needs to be proved is that he felt his life in danger.
Ronbo, I take your point but an armed law abiding person walking the street is not in the same category as a caged criminal with a weapon, a huge grievance and a reason to survive a known and immediate threat. Surely?
After jumping through the hoops; being fingerprinted, background checked back to the day you were born and paying a hefty fee for a right to be declared a privilege, it would be rather brain dead to do illegal shit and lose it all.
