   I do just the quickest scan of NZ news in the morning just in case there is something I need to know about, and then it’s on to Breitbart, Breitbart London, Drudge, Instapundit and the Torygraph. The Daily Mail because sometimes they will report things the other news sites won’t (also the comments tell the real truth about how the people are feeling).

   And then, of course, CR!

   ….and in my mind what’s really terrible about many of the Anglosphere Media Outlets like the PBS in America, the BBC in Britain and the ABC in Australia is that the taxpayers has to foot the bill for the Leftist/Globalist propaganda.

   Of course, propaganda organs do need the taxpayer dime, because in a free market they quickly go out of business – unless they can suck up to corporate dollar as does the American Lamestream Media that no one with half a brain ever watches or reads.

       The Kiwis I meet up there in Seattle on vacation seem to be well informed, educated and solid middle class folks in tune with current events.

       In fact, they often know more about the American political scene than the average American.

       I think most of them would vote for Trump if he were on the ballot for PM in New Zealand.

         Not at all my experience, Ronbo.
         Mind you, we met an American girl (checkout operator) when shopping this week, her parents were from California. She was returning to America to live in Tenn. “because I hear the folks there are so much like New Zealanders”
         And she’s going to vote for Hilary because “the alternative is just too awful”.
         When we pointed out that Clinton was a lying, corrupt criminal she just shrugged and repeated that she was better than the alternative.
         I just stood there at that stage, shaking my head at her profound, ignorant stoopidity.

   NZ “news” is on par with the contents of supermarket gossip mags.

   TV news is the most visible and worst of the bunch: recycled You Tube clips, soundbites of talking heads, seismic global events dumbed-down to 30 seconds, famous-in-NZ celebrities, parish pump banalities (Kiwi mum discovers gluten-free recipe for piklets), and let’s not forget rugby, rugby mumble-grunting meatheads, and yet more fking rugby.

   I haven’t bothered to pay the tax on stupidity that is a purchasing a NZ newspaper in at least a decade.

   Fairfax media e.g Stuff NZ, and their regional newspapers get all their American poolitical articles via the Washington Post- enough said. I have a brief look at local news in the morning, then go to Drudge, Gateway pundit, Daily caller and Breitbart, sometimes P.J media.
