I’m watching the celebrations in Miami, Florida on Fox News as the Cuban-Americans take to the streets waving Cuban and American flags: Indeed, this is a great day for the little people, the wicked old witch is at long last dead:

    http://ronbosoldier.blogspot.com/2016/11/wicked-old-witch-castro-dead-little.html

I think this was what everyone was waiting for – and now the liberation of Cuba will begin – the Cuban-American community is over one million strong and well armed. I’ll wager that even as I type these lines resistance fighters are on there way to Havana by boat and plane.

…and don’t forget only 90 miles of water separates Florida from Cuba…http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

    • Robertv says:

They should stay in the States and help Trump to undo what so many years of progressive dictatorship has done to a once free people. Only a free America can help Cuba. I wonder how many of those celebrating in Miami voted Democrats.

    Leftist’s tyrant-envy:
‘Canadian PM Trudeau Praises Dictator Castro as ‘Remarkable Leader’…’

‘…BBC Fawns over ‘Most Astute Pol of 20th Century’….’

    • Ronbo says:

“Remarkable Leader”….This is NOT the opinion from the Little People Cuban Exile Community In Miami – The people suffered under the iron yoke of communism and lost everything except the shirt on their backs – and after life threatening ride in a life raft to Key West – had the difficult task of starting all over again at minimum wage jobs in an English speaking country even if they had been doctors, lawyers or university professors in Cuba.

I lived in Florida for many years and some of my best friends were Cuban exiles who told me many a hair raising tale about life under Castro -If you can call it life – more like survival from day to day.

I’ll never forget the story told me by a Cuban woman who as a young girl of ten years old in 1959 – was forced to watch her father – a former policeman under the old Regime – being shot in front of their house, after a drum head trial that lasted maybe five minutes.

About a week later Castro executioners came back and the family they’d shot the wrong “Sergeant Garcia”…..and they were so sorry….oh so very sorry, but “The Revolution” was seizing their home just the same.

Oh! Fuck you, Trudeau! You sorry bastard, you wouldn’t last a week on the diet the average Cuban has to eat – rice, beans and maybe some fish.

  4. KG says:

Quite a difference between the Chocolate Messiah’s slimy evasiveness and Trump’s reaction to Castro’s death:
“The world marks the passing of a brutal dictator who oppressed his own people for nearly six decades,” Trump said in a statement issued hours after Castro´s death. “Fidel Castro’s legacy is one of firing squads, theft, unimaginable suffering, poverty and the denial of fundamental human rights.”

      • Ronbo says:

I have a feeling that Cuba will be having a Regime Change shortly after Trump becomes president – The Cuban exile community will not pass up this opportunity by calling back some of those markers they gave Trump.

After all, without the 90% of the votes he received from Cuban-Americans he would not have won Florida.

All Trump has to do is give Raul a call and say,”look,I’m all about building things, and believe me all those statues you forced the people to build in your honor won’t last a day after you die.
But if you work with me and follow my plan, the people will love you so much that when you do die, they will build statues to honor you for bringing Cuba into the modern world. So what’s it gonna be?”

God, it’s refreshing to have some blunt honesty. This bodes well for the Presidency.

If this were a just world, 13 facts would be etched on Castro’s tombstone and highlighted in every obituary, as bullet points — a fitting metaphor for someone who used firing squads to murder thousands of his own people.

●He turned Cuba into a colony of the Soviet Union and nearly caused a nuclear holocaust.

●He sponsored terrorism wherever he could and allied himself with many of the worst dictators on earth.

●He was responsible for so many thousands of executions and disappearances in Cuba that a precise number is hard to reckon.

●He brooked no dissent and built concentration camps and prisons at an unprecedented rate, filling them to capacity, incarcerating a higher percentage of his own people than most other modern dictators, including Stalin.

●He condoned and encouraged torture and extrajudicial killings.

●He forced nearly 20 percent of his people into exile, and prompted thousands to meet their deaths at sea, unseen and uncounted, while fleeing from him in crude vessels.

●He claimed all property for himself and his henchmen, strangled food production and impoverished the vast majority of his people.

●He outlawed private enterprise and labor unions, wiped out Cuba’s large middle class and turned Cubans into slaves of the state.

●He persecuted gay people and tried to eradicate religion.

●He censored all means of expression and communication.

●He established a fraudulent school system that provided indoctrination rather than education, and created a two-tier health-care system, with inferior medical care for the majority of Cubans and superior care for himself and his oligarchy, and then claimed that all his repressive measures were absolutely necessary to ensure the survival of these two ostensibly “free” social welfare projects.

●He turned Cuba into a labyrinth of ruins and established an apartheid society in which millions of foreign visitors enjoyed rights and privileges forbidden to his people.

●He never apologized for any of his crimes and never stood trial for them.

In sum, Fidel Castro was the spitting image of Big Brother in George Orwell’s novel “1984.”

‘Trump slams Fidel Castro for causing ‘unimaginable suffering’ as Obama laments his passing
Experts have estimated that Fidel Castro was responsible for at least 10,000 deaths during his brutal 32-year reign, and that the true toll could be closer to 100,000. ..’

  9. mara the deplorable says:

Trump’s comments are going to rark up Barry and Clinton’s sniveling snowflakes even more. Good. I want to see their heads explode like pustules under pressure. Why? Probably because I’m not nearly as benign as I appear and I would enjoy it. Very deep, I know. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

  10. Odakyu-sen says:

    Stolen from Whaleoil:

“One can only imagine what Barack Obama would have said if Adolf Hitler has recently passed:

A unifier who brought Germans together
Unable to have children he started vibrant youth movement
    Pioneered medical experimentation without animals
    Invented space technology
    Pioneered modern political communications
Patriotic, trying to make Germany great again
Helped protect an over-burdened planet by assisting in reducing the population by 3% or 60 million.
Developed mass transit solutions for impoverished people
    A popular author
    An orator with no peers
Developed a low-cost car for the masses
Eliminated downs syndrome, mental retardation and other ailments afflicting the population
Provided free birth control to over 400,000 Germans
Developed health camps for the obese”

  11. mara the deplorable says:

Point by point, yes, this is correct.

  12. Fairfacts Media says:

As I have said elsewhere, in leftist eyes, it seems if you offer the people state healthcare, you then have a license to kill gays and your opponents.
Take a look at the leftists like Jeremy Corbyn who will laud Castro for delivering some public services.
But think of another alternative, which I haven’t mentioned.
How different might Cuba be were it allowed to develop into a Western -style country.
Already Cuba was relatively prosperous under Batista.
But like elsewhere in Latina America and elsewhere, we see how socialism destroys prosperity, as well as freedom and leads to mass death.
It is tatamount to a sin in leftist circles now to support strong borders.
Say you oppose mass immigration and the left liken you to that Austrian-born chappie who went around gassing Jews and gypsies.
Surely, if we on the right have to be tarred by left for opposing the destruction of our nation states, we should fight back and accuse the left of backing murderous marxism even at the most lily-livered social democrat.

    • Darin says:

“How different might Cuba be were it allowed to develop into a Western -style country.”

Vastly different, they are sitting on a gold mine. They have some of the best beaches anywhere in the region.A people that are friendly and accommodating, they could go far just with tourism.

In fact I kind of wonder if that was the reason we left Castro in power so long?Castro was good for business in South Florida afterall.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

      • Ronbo says:

Good point: South Florida until the Cuban exiles arrived was a sleepy little backwater so typical of the South in the 1950s when my family started to vacation there.

These days it’s jammed with people and is a wealthy happening place, the “Gateway To Latin America.”
