      Kirk has the device destroy itself by trapping it in a logic loop because its self imposed mission is to destroy all “imperfect” beings. In the final dialogue Kirk notes the device is imperfect because (1) It wrongly thinks Kirk is its creator (2) Therefore, the device is imperfect and in error. (3) Therefore, the device must destroy itself.
      
      I submit Kirk has shown us the way to destroy the Left – Logic Loops Kill!
