‘We let kids down all the time. Let’s not do it to teen parents Jenifer and Jayden
WHAT’S the most transgressive, the most dangerous thing a teenage girl can do in 2017?
Have a baby — and want to take care of it herself.
In an era when teenagers are piercing and inking and Snapchatting and live-camming their naked bodies, there is one young western Sydney girl who chose to go ahead with a pregnancy nearly everyone else in her situation would have terminated….’
A modern Easter story. Happy Easter, bunnies.
Geez, how did humans ever make it this far as a species?I don’t see what the big deal is,kids used to get married all the time at 15 or 16.Let them marry, they will find a way with a little help.
Malthusian influence is most obvious even as it is almost never mentioned.
As Fran frequently laments, obvious equates to overlooked.
I don’t get the big deal either. Inking is right, I had a job recently where everyone in the office was covered in ugly tats, legs, arms, hands etc, and I got told off for shoes with laces. Unreal hypocrisy out there.
“Unreal hypocrisy out there.”
Ain’t that the truth, Lara.
also, KG, they were good looking, dressy shoes with laces. Whilst the others got away with frayed skirts, ugly tats and even sandals and jandals. Hence, I don’t work there anymore, the outright stupidity and hypocrisy just pissed me right off! I thought a small family based firm would be good, but nup, they are all the same – mean-spirited, and full of themselves. Yuck.
They did you a favour, Lara. You’re better off without the company of such idiots.
If that is a “meth” baby it is possibly impaired in some way for life. It can be difficult enough at times to raise a healthy child. Both teenagers had a crappy upbringing so why condemn the baby to the same. No way could they manage to raise the child properly without a huge amount of outside help.
I reckon the help would be there for them, Mara. Although we wallow in gloom and doom at times around here, there are still lots of fine, decent people out there who would be only too glad to help.
KG we wallow in gloom and doom? Really?
Qell, I’m bloody sure I have that tendency at times, Mara – and I’ve never felt like an orphan here.
