A U.S. congressman from Louisiana posted Sunday on Facebook that “all of Christendom” is at war with “Islamic horror” and all “radicalized Islamic suspects” should be hunted and killed.

Christian Holy Wars are dangerous things indeed with everyone hoping they are all good with God when doing that kind of stuff. Way, way back when Joshua was camped outside Jericho he saw a man with a sword and asked him if he was for the them or their adversaries. The man, who was from God so an Angel or suchlike, said “Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord I am now come”. He was on God’s side. It turned out OK for Joshua as we know but he was taught a lesson about who was in charge and not to indulge his arrogance in that he was special and God would be at his beck and call.
I’m of a view that the west will have to get nasty with the Muslims to survive but remain unsure if we should invoke God as RSM. Many Arab Christians in dangerous places are encouraged and saying that Muslims are deserting Islam so maybe God is working out his purposes just like He says He will.
