Yeah, the world is full of doomsayers.

My biggest gripe is with politicians deliberately reducing the buying power of your dollar; any dollar. This is deliberate and necessary for them to hide their disastrous monetary and fiscal policies, and to fund their electoral promises and vanity schemes. The end result is runaway house prices, etc. The real level of inflation is hidden by continued ways to decrease the costs of producing food and TV’s. And with this destruction of the value of the dollar so the quest for protecting wealth, let alone growing it, wheelers and dealers have paid more than their value for assets that they hope will achieve this. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_mail.gif

Yep. But the doomsayers have become a chorus, Mawm, and simple commonsense says the Ponzi scheme can’t last forever.

      • Ronbo says:

Like the Iron Lady said years ago: “The trouble with socialism is that at some point you run out of other people’s money” – and socialism is the world’s largest Ponzi scheme that when it does collapse will have future historians wondering why the hell it lasted so long….Why it took Atlas so long to shrug and let the world order roll off his mighty shoulders.

Off topic – watch this speech, the whole thing, by Trump. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif You’ll also get a few minutes of the lovely Melania.

The Trump Doctrine announced that will seen by the International Left as a declaration of war against them.

…and for once they are right.

Brace yourselves CR, dangerous white water ahead!

  3. Ronbo says:

Another factor in play here – The Internationalists, The Western Ruling Classes, The Oligarchy, The Elites – call them what you will – have started to lose to the rising nationalists – and at some point they will do what Hitler did in the last days of WW II to his uber loyal Germany that had served his every whim – they will torch the world economies….

It will be 2008 all over again – this time in spades. As noted above the Western economies are built on the sand of paper money (…and numbers in central bank computers) not backed by gold and worth only what the various governments say it is worth based on the national GNP.

It’s called “Fiat Money” which in reality has the same worth as monopoly money in the game you own.

Of course, the World Elites have nothing to lose and well appointed bolt holes prepared all over the world to hold up until the ruin is complete.

Good article, and here’s the real kicker. If we were to use part of this energy boom to pay down the debt, while cutting government spending the value of the Dollar would take off like a rocket.Better still IF we get a handle on healthcare costs our situation will improve even further.
And that is why the left is fighting Trump every step of the way, they simply do not want to see a strong US economy and the especially do not want to see more Americans rising out of poverty.

      • Ronbo says:

I agree, Darin – something radical must be done to end the era of worthless fiat money where rests the foundation of nations – and allows the Leftist political order to ignore the laws of economics and run up mountains of debt.

I hope we return to the days of the gold standard and balanced budgets – and no government debt except in dire need – like a war for example.

Also, we need to find a way to keep Leftists out of government service. My idea would be to require honorable military service in order to become a politician or bureaucrat. This would stop about 99% of them since hate the military with such a passion.

        • Darin says:

We must first reduce the number of government agencies, both federal, state and local.Complexity of government is a scam. The more complex it is and the more there are involved the easier it is for corruption to take hold and fester.
Requirements are simple, return to basics. So much legislation is enacted and ruled out by people who are woefully under qualified. We need in government more civil and mechanical engineers and less social engineers.I asked a liberal friend awhile back-“do you honestly believe that Nancy Pelosi knows anything at all about road construction?Or space flight?Or Military hardware?-what?No? Well why is she a member of a governing body that makes decisions on what systems are used and how much we spend on them?” He had no answer.
So with that in mind,we need doctors at HHS,Engineers on the Infrastructure subcommittee and so on.In business people are best matched to the jobs they are qualified to do,no other system works.

So far as qualifications for President or Governor,I have always liked that quote from Robert Heinlein-
“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.”

THAT is what we should look for in a leader, remarkable men and women, not the ordinary.Trump is a remarkable man,the only thing remarkable about his predecessor was his ability to lie.
