    The problem with that statement is that none of those complaints have anything to do with capitalism, they are byproducts of creeping socialism. Rents are high because leftist NIMBYs refuse to allow housing to be built. Student loan debt is a direct function of government funds freely available to universities for loans, which gives them every incentive to raise prices sky high. Obamacare speaks for itself, there’s no freedom of choice in its mandates for insurance companies and no willing-buyer, willing seller dynamic for consumers. All of these are full blown byproducts of socialism. Want more of these horrors? By all means elect more socialists.

    Wabbit just had to cancel an order from a NZ retailer because they couldn’t get the part number right, couldn’t be arsed to ring me back or send an email and the widdle girly on the ‘phone (about the fourth call) couldn’t even get the effing postcode right! I’ve now lost count of the number of similar experiences I’ve had with overpriced and inefficient NZ retailers.
    It’s not a level playing field these bastards want, it’s protection from companies who do damn near everything better than them and at a lower price.
    And of course the Socialist Kollective in power would just love the extra money to throw at their braindead followers. Usually it is spread by flea bites from fleas that have “escaped” from the wild rodent population to the domestic one. It presents with buboes, is haematalogic and easily treated.
