As a SoCal, OC county resident, I was aware of this happening for the last 20 years. It’s kind of hard to miss when even the left wing LA Times has articles 20 years ago about how the most popular baby name in LA county was “Jose”. Ironically, it was the Republicans who did nothing. In fact, Reagan helped it along with his amnesty to 2 million illegals. Now they’re getting slaughtered in the polls in a state with 55 electoral votes. I often wonder, when I step out and see trucks driving by proudly flying Mexican flags, who here voted for this to happen? The answer, of course, is virtually nobody.
Yup. The first step was Loretta Sanchez stealing Dornan’s seat. Because he was such a firebrand the GOP(e) and even the less traitorous GOP, let it go as “just as well.” Cuz he made the rest look like the sell-outs they were.
Next came the other Sanchez sister.
And then Arnold Schwarzenegger had his thugs raid that one candidate who sent out warnings against voting illegally. (I had to search Free Republic to find that 2nd link. The publication that published the news and opinion has since hidden the original.)
His case was handed off to the feds. They had to try him twice (persecute) in order to get a conviction on lying to California investigators (whose real aim — proven by the open admissions that have transpired since then — was to thwart thwarting of illegal voting.)
After that K2, it was all just a matter of how long before all elected office would be held by demoncrats.
