  1. Guys I think we’re being censored. A few hours ago I posted a message about how Simon Bridges is also for gun law changes; and how the Herald’s headline has said something about no more guns, whereas Jacinda has only talked about no more semi autos for the time being.

I tried to send this off numerous times and it wouldn’t go through. Yet when other comments were made they did go through. So it looks like its being censored. At least I know that I haven’t been kicked off by you.

    • I just watched it and that video reinforces my belief that younger women are responsible for a very great deal of the aversion to open debate and creeping totalitarianism that we’re watching unfold right now.

      • Even Blonde agrees that women are too emotional to vote and have a lot to answer for . Naturally she copped a lot of hate but that’s the way she rolls .

    • “Kara [Swisher], you want us to trust you to Mom the internet when, by your own admission, you can’t even Mom your own home.”

  2. Take a look at this!!
‘Christchurch mosque attacks: Auckland doctor stood down over anti-Muslim comments
A number of people viewing the posts, written well before the Christchurch mosque attacks, contacted the Herald in disgust.
“The only thing we are able to tell you at this time is that it appears that [the doctor] made these comments two years ago in response to an international incident,” the spokesperson told the Herald.’

This has turned into a modern-day Salem witch hunt. Nothing Macdocter wrote was either ‘vile’ or ‘disgusting’ by any reasonable test.

    • I’m afraid that the time has come when one cannot express oneself freely on any publicly viewable site and probably not one any internet site at all either. With the likes of Zuckerberg willing to hand over any and all communications to whatever investigative agency or MSM outlet the freedom of speech in the West has died.

      • It surely has. And with it will go anything resembling liberty, poor and tattered as it already is.

    • And I thought we had free speech in New Zealand?
I guess the anti-free-speech groups are utilizing this event to their own advantage.

      • I reckon there’s been very little true free speech in this country for a long time, mate.
It’s known as the “village” effect, silencing by cowardly people who will stand up for nothing for fear of mere disapproval.

  3. ‘There is no such thing as a totalitarian on the right. Hitler and Mussolini were on the left. The Nazis were the National Socialist Workers Party. They believed in gun control, control of the press, socialized medicine and control of industry. Stop letting the left define your terms and parameters.’

    • They also believe in abortion up to and even after the moment of birth, euthanasia of the old (remember Obama’s medical advisor saying you had lived long enough if you were 70?), forcing perversions on children and the destruction of the Republic. It is hard not to wish God’s wrath to utterly destroy them.

      • God’s not doing too well right now, is he?
Putting one’s faith in God looks a lot like dodging our responsibility to try and change what’s evil and preserve what’s good.
Easy to bloviate about ‘divine wrath’ instead of getting off our backsides and joining the fight.

Thank you KG. I think your words rate another 🏠🏃

        • You missed the point KG. I can think of nothing more terrifying than to suffer God’s wrath. Who or what the instrument is, was beside the point.

          • I took KG’s point as referring to those of us who rely on God’s wrath to stop the evil in this world rather than fighting it ourselves.

Your point I would take to mean that those who fail to fight it in this world will have to answer His question “why not?” and may suffer His wrath should He fail to accept their answer. Weigh our choices now carefully.

Of course you could also mean that we who shirk our responsibility will have to suffer his wrath in this world as well. However, due to His natural law, unless there is some special protection offered the righteous (similar to the Passover story) God brings rain upon the righteous and sinner alike. That form of wrath is temporal, not eternal. The wrath to fear most ought to be the eternal, along the lines of Pascal’s wager.

Incidentally, I’ve read much from those who dismiss that genius’ probability analysis. They invariably also give short shrift to his explanation of what happens if you bet that God exists and He doesn’t. In that case you at least tried hard to behave in a decent manner to your fellow man so as not to offend Him. Simply look at how these neo-pagans are behaving today and there is no doubt what they think of their fellow man.

  4. New Populist Party Goes from Zero Seats to Largest Party in Dutch Elections
Thierry Baudet’s Forum for Democracy party, which has gained attention for its Euroscepticism, campaigned against open borders politics and against what he calls “climate-change hysteria,” winning 86 seats across the Dutch regions. The victory put his party ahead of even the ruling mainstream conservative People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), which achieved 80 seats.

    • That was in response, I think, to MI6 (the foreign intelligence service) claiming that right wing terrorism is a real and growing danger. Turf war?

      • Six is in the grip Of the Foreign Office, which consists of a bunch of pro-Arabist bureaucrats.
There never has been much love lost between 6 and 5.

    • Were that sort of commentary picked up by one major Kiwi newshub and broadcast, the slightly brighter and higher situated sister of AOC would be flying out on a “learning” junket and not returning until the heat died down and the police had shut down that newshub.
