It’s due to the massive discharge of fresh flood water down the Mississippi river this spring.The same water that flooded farmland and cities all along the river empties into the GOM.
The floods brought overflows to sewage threatment plants,farm runoff lagoons and as well all of the bacteria that’s normally in the water from wildlife in the effected area.
I’ve been living on the Gulf in coastal Mississippi for 48 years and this same thing happens everytime we have a flood year in the Mississippi River basin,it’s no mystery.
When the Army Corp of Engineers opens the Atchafalaya and Morganza spillways to prevent flooding.Most of the flood water that normally travels out to the gulf through the main channel and surrounding tributaries,bypasses and goes almost directly to the GOM.
As a result,water that normally takes time to whind it’s way and mix with saltwater along the way instead dumps straight in carrying everything that’s in it.People need to remember that 1/3 of the US landmass drains through the Mississippi River into the GOM.That much fresh water,that quickly,it will have an effect.

When those at the top of government are open to committing illegal acts and promote immorality, the attitude becomes pervasive.
To be fair even the most ethical back surgeons operating for clearly indicated reasons and using the best hardware will have some patients that have intractable pain following this kind of back surgery.

So, I dropped into a KiwiBank branch today and noticed several small signs at the teller windows. These signs advised people to deposit a certain amount (over $1000) into a KiwiSaver account and they would receive, quote, “free money”, about $570. I mentioned to the teller that the signs were not true. When she said they were, I pointed out that the Government doesn’t have any money of its own and the funds actually came from hard working New Zealanders via their taxes. My small bit to educate the ignorant.
