    Treasonous vermin-

“I can understand why President Trump is not liked. He has uprooted the status quo for elite Washington bureaucrats and politicians. Their multi-decade system of wasting taxpayer dollars, cozying up to lobbyists and foreign governments, and lying to the American people came to a screeching halt on January 20, 2017. No longer did they have the hand-picked Democrat or Republican in the White House to rubber-stamp their corruption.

The president has brought a fresh mindset to the Oval Office – one that questions the status quo and puts our country’s interest first. This is a foreign mindset in our nation’s capital and one that our adversaries vehemently hate.”

Great find Darin. But I continue my doubts.
Although I like the way this is written and recommend thought about it, I still think too much of this circus is staged. Call me cynical, but I still recall Tom Daschle and Trent Lott fighting on the Senate floor, then later caught off-floor by C-Span camera hugging.

From my perspective Trump goes along too easily in that he mostly twitter complains rather than get charges filed. Building a case for all of them before he strikes sounds completely different from the way he operates. The danger for us is that destruction of Constitutional rule seems set to continue apace no matter which “side” wins. The constitution protects the citizen from becoming subjects.

Please provide a more optimistic rebuttal. I find it hard to relax given my thoughts.

    • SO it’s NOT Quid Pro Quo.
      It’s Status Quo!

      This from Sundance at CTH.

U.S. senators write foreign aid policy, rules and regulations thereby creating the financing mechanisms to transmit U.S. funds. Those same senators then received a portion of the laundered funds back through their various “institutes” and business connections to the foreign government offices; in this example Ukraine. [ex. Burisma to Biden]

The U.S. State Dept. serves as a distribution network for the authorization of the money laundering by granting conflict waivers, approvals for financing (think Clinton Global Initiative), and permission slips for the payment of foreign money. The officials within the State Dept. take a cut of the overall payments through a system of “indulgence fees”, junkets, gifts and expense payments to those with political oversight.

And much more. The whole of Washington is on the take; tax-payer’s money being laundered through various means and into their pockets. This is a must read article and why none of these crooks will ever see the inside of a goal – they are all in this together and the American public are paying for it

The whole system is corrupt and designed to see the corrupt remain in power. More than ever I think we need to keep the Constitution, but burn the rest to the ground and start over. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_sad.gif

“A military officer does not get to threaten his leadership with a ‘do what I demand or I will quit’ approach. Any senior level military officer who would express such a sentiment would be regarded as unstable, compromised and unfit to hold a leadership rank.”

    • mawm says:

In days gone by he would have been hung, drawn and quartered, or maybe only cashiered! In the true Brit tradition this involved a parade-ground ceremony in front of his assembled troops with the destruction of the symbols his of status: his epaulettes ripped off his shoulders, his badges and insignia stripped, his swords broken, his cap knocked away, and his medals torn off his uniform and dashed upon the ground. This is a very effective way to humiliate a military person. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

I seem to remember that happening in an old Clint Eastwood movie.

An Op End on Eddie Gallagher by his brother.

The reach by Obama and his handlers is frighteningly pervasive and durable.

To any service member reading this: If it can happen to us, it can happen to you.

The message your brass and bureaucracy is sending you is clear. You are disposable. When it comes to their careers or their political motives, they’ll send you to war and then railroad you, drag you through the mud, and sing songs of sanctimony while you and your family hang.

    • Pascal says:

Given how our stateside Prog elites, now evermore burrowed into our top brass, so love Europe, the prevalence of what befell Gallagher was to be expected mawm.

This film was banned in France for over 20 years because it was so revealing. When pressed to explain themselves they simply leave the room. Compare Spencer with this chief of staff played brilliantly by Adolphe Menjou. Disciplinarian fearful of high-society’s disapproval.

      • Darin says:

Look at what the Navy brass is telling us-they were willing to lie in order to ruin Gallagher’s life, take his pension, take his Trident and most likely jail him for 20 years for basically doing his job (SEALS are there to break things and kill people, it’s their job, it’s what they do). Posing with a dead ISIS combatant? Really? He could have had the bastard stuffed and mounted and no one would have cared.

This was supposedly about the “crimes” he committed leaving a “stain” on the Navy’s reputation? Seriously? No mention of the Fat Leonard scandal though and the massive shit stain that group of petty thugs left on the institution. Does say a lot that so far no one involved in that affair has been reprimanded anywhere near the level that they had in mind for Gallagher.
And seriously, is anyone going to tell me that a decades long corruption and bribery scandal spanning the entire Pacific fleet some how didn’t involve at least a few career officers higher than rear Admiral? Really?
