Throw it out and start over

I and more than a few others think the best thing is a new election.

American Thinker-

There is talk about recounts,but how do you re-count an election where the ballots have been opened from their envelopes? Where illegal immigrants have quite possibly padded the voter rolls? Where ballots have been harvested and the chain of custody utterly broken? Where who knows what went on behind closed doors as suitcases and boxes on rollers mysteriously arrived at midnight?

Recounts are a fool’s errand. Throwing out a bad election and ordering a new one, with hard observation on all sides, full transparency, and judicial supervision is frankly the far better solution, as it is the only way to restore confidence in the system.

      That is a tremendously smart idea. The full transparency part would really rankle the urban lords and ladies.

        I would add an absolute media blackout until the result is known as well. That way we don’t have news outlets-including FOX! :evil: calling states for their favorite candidate with 5% of the total counted.

    In Queensland state elections, the QEC now mails out barcoded voter identity cards just before polling day to be presented by each voter when attending at a polling station, good for one time only. Not perfect against fraud though, as no photo is on the card.

      I’ve been saying for awhile now to turn our Social Security cards into photo ID’s. Of course the first response is always “oh it’s not intended to be used as an ID”. But every institution we have dealings with, either public or private,one of the first pieces of information they ask for is our SS number.

      It would solve a multitude of fraud problems including with the vote. One of the oldest ways to cheat in the US presidential election is to own property in two or more States. Those folks will register in both states, vote in person in one and by absentee in the other. This was and still is quite common in Florida with that state having a lot of snowbirds with vacation homes.

        ID, in-person voting and purple ink on the finger. Special votes, mail-in votes, etc to get extra scrutiny such as checking for registration in other states.

    In person voting ONLY on election day WITH the SILVER NITRATE/PURPLE sheep dip and HAND COUNTING with INSTANT double check of small batches by each pair of vote counters WITH random poll watcher sampling.

    Zerrrrrroooo official interest way before the election to address problems identified. NO interest, least of all by Trump people. Yet we hear ad nauseum about our “values” and “our democracy.” Barf.
