    I had that thought in the back of my mind, that China would like a bioweapon that would solve their problems in Africa and South America. They want BOTH continents and I doubt there isn’t anything they wouldn’t do to get them.

    I’ve seen 3-4 articles about the US Olympic squad not doing well (Women’s soccer, no gold medal on day 1, now Men’s basketball, there may be others) and all seem to carry a measure of surprise. I don’t know why. If your athletes lack pride in their nation, they will not give that extra bit of effort over an above personal desire to win.

      What worries me is the co-opting of the Five Eyes. Jacinda is bound to be falling over herself to co-operate which means that all our online stuff will be forwarded onto our spies and the same censorship, right wing supremacist/racist, domestic terrorist rules will be applied here.

    The Health Ministry reported last week that the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine’s efficacy in preventing infection has seen a staggering drop from over 90% to around 40%. However, the shot’s protection from severe illness and death still remains relatively high.

    This certainly gives one confidence in the efficacy of the inoculation. /sarc. Taking ivermectin seems to be far more effective. I saw some figures where it was 85% effective. I can’t remember if it was preventing the disease in those with positive nasal swabs or in the treatment of those with symptoms. The problem is we are never comparing apples with apples in all these small studies being done around the world.
