Democracy. You’re drowning in it.

For the past forty years Wabbit has watched as governments of all stripes–governments and the bureaucrats who serve them–have steadily chipped away at our freedoms. We are now undeniably less free, more subject to a massive burden of rules and regulations, more at the mercy of petty tyrants and apparatchiks.
Everything, from the food we eat to the way we bring up our children to what we’re allowed to do with our own property is now at the whim and the mercy of some unelected drone.
Not only that, but the bastards who rule us demand to be kept in some considerable comfort–by us–even as they treat us with utter contempt and disdain. They are the new unelected, unaccountable ruling class.
The lesson is plain: Look not to any politician, any government, any political party for relief. The tide has been inexorably in the direction of less freedom under all of them. Without exception.
Government is the enemy. Never mind religion…democracy is the opiate of the masses now.
