Comrade Jacinda Ardolf joined at the hip with Comrade Dictator Dan from Victoria. This is not going to end peacefully. The weather will win this weekend as the rain and wind of the remnants of a tropical storm (cyclone/hurricane) pounds NZ, but there is a lot of determination out there.
It feels like the catalyst event has begun with the Freedom Convoy in Canada. We’ve heard and discussed tipping points and critical mass needing a single event to start the cascade against the totalitarian rules.
When I saw the video, my first thought was “This will not end well for the NZ Police”.
The childish, intemperate speaker Mallard turned the sprinklers on those camped there. He’ll get his comeuppance one day – hopefully in a dark alley. What a dick.
There could be a problem withe give send go account set up for the Canadian convoy. It seems that four people have taken over all media liaison and the collection and distribution of funds. The video below explains all.
If this is the reality Andy, there’s a whole shitload of people who don’t want to believe it. That’s number 1.
But if it’s true, if these ARE scammers, and they think that this racket will be treated as just business as usual, they have another think coming. Those truckers will find them and skin them.
Two things – the protestors were arrested for trespassing on public land. Now I hear that the land Parliament is built on is actually iwi (Maori tribal) land. So I wonder how those charges are going to stick.
The opportunist Winston Peters is using the protest to become politically relevant again. He is the person who handed the reins of the country to Jacinda by bucking convention and not going with the party that won the most votes because someone in the opposition National Party had exposed his corruption. He can use this opportunity because the opposition parties have not come out in support of the protestors and in fact have both expressed their support for mandates. The ACT party leader has quietly withdrawn his support of mandates but still will not come out in support of the protestors. The mood on a popular centre right blog is that no one wants to support National or ACT because of this. Their next choice is Winston who they all despise. And of course they hate Jacinda.
Oh how I wish I could trust Whittle and not pass caution along to you all whenever he strikes a really good chord. (I’ve personal knowledge.) I really like what he has to say and how he delivers it, particularly today. In the following video, his historical references and use of them are impeccable.
Consider this. Maybe “the tell” is he’s essentially giving us the old line “Hey, why don’t you and him fight. Let me hold your coat.” Let’s see him step up. Let’s see him defeat his own shame for only saying a great deal.
Leftists/”progressives”/socialists are not welcome here. Pay for your own soapbox.

"The loss of freedom is like cancer; it will spread slowly but surely across all parts of society until our liberty has been utterly eaten away and we are left with nothing but a half-forgotten idea of what freedom was."

Oops, the rough handling by the police has not stopped the protest. But then again, the NZ Gov’t has plans (see the last line in the article).
