Somehow I don’t think we will hear the actual “truth about Ukraine”. Nobody in . their right mind would believe Putin doesn’t have an agenda he is pushing but NOT talking about. And only an abject moron would buy the bullshit being spewed by the criminals and morons in Mordor On The Potomac…or their media whores.

I may be on Instagram (or Facebook or some other social media).

What happened was I had just left my place and approached a ‘T’ intersection. I had followed a cyclist down the hill, through a round-about to this intersection. Our lane split just before the T into left and right turn lanes. The cyclist moved into the left turn lane and I moved until I was almost even with him when he suddenly turned back into my lane without any indication whatsoever. Fortunately, I was braking to stop anyway and just pushed harder on the brake pedal. I hit the horn and the young man on the cycle looked at me and gestured as if to say “What?”. I lowered my window and forcefully said “You just cut right in front of me with no indication whatsoever, YOU STUPID ASS!” He proceeded to take out his smart phone and take a photo of my license plate. He then tapped his phone a few times before we turned right onto the other road. I’m hoping he reports me to the police.

I cycle in town only because I need to train for my bike packing trips. There are 2 issues – Firstly there are a lot of wankers out there on bikes who obstruct cars and secondly there are a lot of wankers out there in cars who do not respect the safety of cyclists. It sounds as if you met the former. There are a lot of stories I could tell you about the latter. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

      • Michael in Nelson says:

mawm, I do respect cyclists because I know they are terribly at risk if they are in a collision with a car or truck. My issue with many is they fail to follow the road code, especially when it comes to indicating. In large part I blame the police for failing to enforce the law on the cyclists.

World Health Assembly agrees to launch negotiations for an agreement to fight pandemics….. because they did so well with this (artificial) one???

You don’t need to read it, the headline says it all.

    https://www.breitbart.com/sports/2022/02/22/u-s-soccer-caves-agrees-to-24-million-equal-pay-settlement-womens-team/

“Just a look at the viewership of the tournament games is telling. The men’s team brings far, far more fans to their World Cup games than the women’s teams. In 2018, the Men’s World Cup garnered 3.6 billion total viewers worldwide. That viewership brought $6 billion in profits to FIFA, the international soccer league. On the other hand, the last Women’s World Cup in 2015 only saw 764 million viewers. That is a huge disparity and an essential marker in what the two leagues earn from the fans.

Men’s soccer brings more fans and more of the fan’s money to the sport. And now that the league is being forced to pay its female players millions more in salary and bonuses, that is millions more the league will not earn to help keep the whole thing going.”

So “equality” means men having to carry the water for the women again??? Got it http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

    • mawm says:

Women tennis players get paid the same as men – and only play best of 3 sets to the mens 5! Their argument is they have the same expenses to train, get to and stay at tournaments. That’s fine but then play 5 sets.

    • Andy says:

Women’s soccer is being heavily pushed in the UK. One evening I turned on my sports channel in the middle of a game. After a few moments I thought this is a crap game, who is playing? Flicking to the guide I discovered that it wasn’t two pub teams but a women’s premiership game!

    • Robertvd says:

Don’t worry . Soon there will be no women in women sports but just men who feel women. So that could be a big improvement for women sport.

I could quite confidently say the world would be better, work better and be wealthier without any government at all. Our “leaders” collectively are self-serving morons.

And with that I have been labelled by our “security services” a radical anti-government activist. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cry.gif

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out… without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.”

I was having a quiet beer out in the garden and my thoughts strayed to the founder of this blog. I think KG would be ripping all kinds of new exhaust orifices into our dishonest, insane and intolerable “dear leader” of NZ and those in Australia and the rest of the Western world. I learned a lot from him.

It will certainly put some doubts into the minds of private businesses who are mandating full vaccination as a condition of employment. Can and worms come to mind. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

Over 14,000 new cases and the total now over 100,000. I wonder when the government will realise their masks and mandates don’t work? Notwithstanding the High Court ruled the vaccine mandates violate individual rights. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

    • Darin says:

The vaccines don’t work either, hopefully this is Omicron and not Delta that is flaring up.

      • Michael in Nelson says:

The rate of infection spread and the low mortality rate are strong indicators of Omicron. Probably BA1 but due to be replaced by BA@ as in other countries. More infectious but no more virulent than BA1.

  8. Michael in Nelson says:

According to the official COVID 19 website there have been over 166,000 cases since the start of the disease with 146780 currently in the community. All of the 146,780 are most likely to be Omicron whilst only 3 of the 56 deaths occurred during the Omicron outbreak.

If the above assumptions are correct, the current mortality rate from Omicron is 0.00002 (survival rate 99.998% for all ages and conditions). LOCK EVERYTHING DOWN!
