I don’t know why yet, but for a few weeks now random comments are going straight to the trash folder. Even ones from long time readers that have author authority.
So if you make a comment and it doesn’t appear, you aren’t blocked, it’s some weirdness with WP. So if your comment doesn’t show up, give me a bit and check back.
